I've been to the Serena Kigali twice now and it still impresses me. From the white suited doorman to the swimming coach. The rooms are very neat and the tv allows for a USB (for us travelling with our own movies/series). If you're lucky enough to have a suite, you can have business meetings in the comfort of your room... More

Stayed here for one night en route to a gorilla trek. It really is very nice. Clean, great service. Safe. Nice pool. Great breakfast included. Meets or exceeds most European or American standards. Kigali is not exactly where i would go for a vacation. But Serena was a nice place to chill.

We stayed here for one night after going on the Mountain Gorilla trek (which was amazing!) and it was the perfect hotel to relax in after a very long tiring day. The room had everything & more than what you would expect from a 5 star hotel room from the very comfortable king bed with choice of pillows, spacious clean... More

Order, Cleanliness and friendly service! That's the feel I got all through my stay here. It's an awesome place. It's set on a quiet relaxed area and the views of the town from the hotel are expansive. I've been to other hotels around, but I would say a stay in this one was worth it.

There's nothing to complain about at this lovely hotel, but the fact is, you could be anywhere. The building is nothing to look at, but the rooms are large, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the service was good. The problem is that I felt I could be in San Diego or Barcelona rather than... More

Had a layover in Kigali and stayed at the Serena. Excellent hotel - nice facilities, room, and amazing spread for the breakfast buffet. If you're in Kigali for a stay of any length, would recommend it highly.

Stayed here for 1 night after trekking with the gorillas. At around $500 a night I wouldn't say it's value for money but I suppose they can charge that given there aren't too many descent hotels in town. There is a massive Sheraton being built next door so that might change things in the future. All the staff were genuinely friendly... More

What a special hotel in a very special place - the first time in Rwanda and had no idea what to expect but was extremely impressed by the level of service, the rooms, the facilities in this hotel. We were based here on 2 separate occasions before and after our Gorilla trek. Our room was huge (we were upgraded to... More

I highly recommend this hotel for your business or holiday visits to Kigali. The personal touches you'll find around the hotel is lovely and cosy. The food is brilliant! The bathrooms in the rooms is amazing! I will definitely stay there again on future business trips!
