Got robbed of camera gear from Sky hotel which was locked in rooms while we were out. staff could not care less. police were helpful. rooms are filthy, water was brown out of the taps, no hot water. states it has internet but doesn't. worst was the unbelievably pounding music from the downstairs nightclub that shock the windows all night.... more

We stayed at this hotel in June 2007. Sky is a big hotel close to the centre of Kigali. When we stayed there were a few problems that weren't entirely the fault of the hotel. There was an electricity cut in the part of the city we stayed in, so they had to rely on the generator in the evenings.... more

the first room they offered was very very basic, a bed but no linen, grubby looking room.... but then they offered another on the third floor, so more quite as higher up from the traffic, nice decent size room with a good bed & linen and a mozzi net, + it even had a working TV with English a channel.... more

The Sky Hotel is an okay place to stay, with hot water in most rooms, breakfast included for at least one person and a great view of the city on one side of the hotel. The major problem is that on the side with the view is also home to the bar that gets started at around 8:00pm and goes... more
