We were not originally booked to stay in the Flame Tree. Our guide/driver from Primate Safari's arranged it when our original hotel failed to honor our booking. The staff are all helpful and accommodating. Our room was large, spacious and comfortable. The food was fresh and wholesome. We'd strongly recommend it .

Flame tree village is a very nice place to spend some days in Kigali. Situated a bit outside of the main city centre of Kigali, it offers a very private and quiet atmospehre. The appartment are on two floors and offer plenty of space and a nice view on the other hills of Kigali! Everything is very new and on... More

I had no idea what I was in for but my 3 night stay here could not have been better. The staff was so friendly and accommodating the whole time. The villas are huge and clean- great experience overall. I's definitely come back when I return to Kigali.

We were originally booked at the Serena, however 2 weeks prior to our arrival our reservation was cancelled by the Rwandan government. There was an African Banking conference and that was deemed a priority. Our travel agent booked us into this hotel instead. The hotel is indeed very nice, clean and quiet. Our room was a multi-level unit with the... More

We spent two nights here upon arrival and before leaving Rwanda. Loved it! A quiet sanctuary with spacious clean rooms, great restaurant on site, friendly and helpful staff, a lovely location perched atop a hill in a new prosperous neighborhood. Highly recommend.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms absolutely quiet and generously stocked with toiletries, nice furnishings, mosquito netting, etc. The food in the restaurant is very good and the bar is nicely stocked as... This is one of three Rwandan family owned resorts in the country by 3B group. You get to know the staff as family and friends. They are strong at catering to your needs. Very safe and secure. Huge apartment style rooms that are two stories. That was a surprise! Walk in to hallway with kitchenette and dining area off to... More

I recently stayed at the Flame Tree Village and was amazed who spacious the villa's were. Nice view from the balcony over Kigali. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The pool is a bit small though but as I was out and about all day I did not care too much.... More

We stayed here in one of the suites for 3 nights in February. We thought that the suite had a bit of an unusual configuration and that it was somewhat oddly appointed. The rooms were, however, spacious and clean and there was a lovely view from the living area. The pool and bar areas are comfortable and it was nice... More
