We stayed at the Mille Collines and Lemigo on consecutive nights in August, so this review is being posted under both hotels’ names. Mille Collines was slightly higher in price, but given the cost of a trip to Rwanda, the difference was negligible. Lemigo is nearer the airport and closer to government buildings; Mille Collines (of Hotel Rwanda fame) is... More

Lemigo Hotel is a very short drive from the airport. I checked into the hotel very efficiently. My bags were looked after by the porter and I was offered refreshments while I completed check in forms. The room is comfortable, but perhaps not as nice as other hotels in which I've stayed on business trips. I liked that the mini... More

I just spent six (6) nights staying at lemigo Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda. Rwanda is still in a transition from the 1994 genocide and this includes transitioning from being a Frncophone country with French speakers in western-oriented hotels to having English speaking staff available. Fortunately, lemigo is one of the hotels which seems to have successfully made that transition and... More

Lemigo was a very popular hotel in Kigali going by the fact that there always seem to be quite a few meetings and conferences going on during my 5 days stay there. The hotel was well-maintained and room was relatively large. I considered the breakfast's spread very poor compared to similar class hotels in Namibia and Botswana. Not only that,... More

stayed for 3 nights on a business trip. Good hotel with a good choice of restaurants (chinese, indian, European cuisine). The break fast was ok. Rooms with all the facilities including free wifi access.

I loved this hotel, service was excellent, electrical adapters provided in room, rooms clean, wifi efficient, breakfast was excellent. Very good entertainment in the evening by the pool. Only drawbacks were that I was propositioned by a prostitute twice before I even got checked all the way into my room. I note this in case of travelling with family :)

Stayed one night en route to Gorilla trekking. The staff were excellent and keen to provide good service. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was very small and in need of refurbishment. Dinner was good, but breakfast just OK (although eggs were freshly cooked to order). Internet worked well. There is a currency exchange desk with... More

I didn't sleep here. I ate here. And I'm a volunteer on a tight budget. Bear this in mind as you read on. As you're reading on though, bear in mind that I think anybody from anywhere would enjoy this place. The Mille Colline has a pool, but the Lemigo has one with a swim-up bar. (You'll sit with water... We found the place to be just fine and a comfortable ending to our four-week sojourn in the region. Staff are service-oriented and try very hard, and generally succeed. Food was surprisingly good. Hotel lay-out is odd: lots of ups and downs where most other places would have taken the extra step to avoid... extra steps, but that might simply... More

Although this hotel looks nice from the outside and the service staff try their best, the rooms are sub-par in design, maintenance, and cleanliness. Don't believe the brochure or advertisements for this hotel! It is highly overpriced and definitely not anywhere over a 2 star rating. The first room (#111) we were put in (and subsequently demanded be changed) had... More
