Nice, cute, conservative hotel hidden in a well manicured corner of the city. Nice beds, lovely rooms, warm staff, but very limited food in the small restaurants. I have stayed here at least ten times within the last four years and never felt the good standards deteriorate. Safety is also not in question here as Maitama is one of the... More

My credit card was skimmed in the reception. The room was ok with Nigerian standards, but very poor with European dito. Expensive (even more so when they skimm your card) but still one of the better hotels in Abuja

When working in Nigeria, Abuja is way more safe than the turbulent south, and if you need government ministries or the big financial institutes, it's the place. The city is (comparatively) new and the infrastructure is better than in Lagos, That doesn't mean it's good, I averaged 8 power outs a day... The hotel is adjacent to the police HQ,... More

I normally stay at the Hilton in Abuja but a change in company policy finds me here! What a nice experience, the staff are fantastic, the service prompt and they have a real can do attitude. Security is excellent and have really had a relaxing time here. I really recommend this hotel in Abuja. I see there are lots of... More

It's a small hotel that would be worthy of the label 'boutique' if it was a little better presented. The main entrance, lobby bar and rooms are nicely kept but the hallway carpet is tired in places and completely threadbare outside the roof terrace entrance. My room was comfortable, clean and have good airconditioning. Power comes and goes as you'd... More

I paid a whooping 85000 naira to stay in this place. It was horrible. The bathrooms were very dirty, the rooms dusty, had to pay extra for breakfast which was oil soaked and the staff completely out of touch. For a Protea tag on your door? You need to wake up.

This hotel is very small and the facilities are not good. rooms are not clean and look very depressing. the good thing about this hotel is that is safe and the only one around. the food is average and staff are friendly.

I stayed here in Jan for 4 nights. Very pleased with high level and visible security guards in and outside the hotel. Excellent and friendly staff throughout the hotel. South African chef provded excellent food in the buffet and a la carte dining. Has a small outdoor Swimming Pool. Only 1 minor issue with the credit card machines on checking... More

When you visit some where like Abuja, the most important thing on your mind is SAFETY. This hotel offers full security, fully secure and fenced complex as well as the location being fairly safe, or as safe as Nigeria can really offer. Baring this in mind my interpretation of areas being dangerous could be different to yours, however I have... More

I stayed here for two nights for business. It seems to be centrally located and in a safe neighbourhood. There was visible security and staff went out of their way to assist us. Room was big enough and very clean. AC worked well and if we had power outages I didn't notice. Breakfast was the full works, and tasty too.... More
