A bit hard to review this Place as it has many ups and downs and is a bit incosistent... Many people applaud the security and yes, it has a number of guards around the Clock and they try to be cautious on who enters and not. At the same time I walked through the security entrance with dozing guards more... More

I was very close to change the hotel after the first night: room was most probable never cleaned after last client, dirty toilet and around 30 mosquitoes in the room. The only reason why I stood in the hotel was the good security and the controls who can enter the hotel and therefore my company wanted me to stay there... More

This was the second time I had been to Niamey. The first time I stayed at another hotel booked by the office which was ok but the restaurant was appalling. This time I was at the Homeland...good choice which I would score as a 3.5. There isn't a great deal of choice in Niamey but this was good. It was... More

First room had broken air conditioner. Second room had bad wifi reception, broken phone, and dirty, smelly sheets. I moved to the Tabakady hotel the next day. The only positive of this hotel was the nice nighttime staff. The daytime staff had very little interest in the clients.

I am a regular traveler to Niamey and always stay in this hotel. I like the hotel very much because of its location and security . Staff are also very cordial. You have plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. One Turkish and one Indian restaurant are the best. The hotel has descent rooms with good service. It gives you... More

This was my first time in Niamey so I have nothing to compare it to. The hotel was clean and there was hardly any power cuts. Rooms have air con which was great as it was 42 degrees when I was there. It says that they have a pool but it wasn't cleaned very much and did not look appealing... More

I started my stay in Niamey here. After only three nights, I moved to another option as this hotel is too expensive for the quality it offers. On the positive side, the hotel is close to the Maison de l'ONU and has decent security. Apart from this, there is really no reason why you would want to stay here. The... More

I stayed at Homeland for 4 nights for work and was happy with my stay. I took the cheapest room available which was 55,000 CFA. Hotel was quiet, reliable hot water and WiFi worked well (although I had to change connection points a few time). I have nothing to compare it to in Niamey but for a business is felt... More

In its category this hotel is very good. My room was just upgraded a few days/weeks before I got the chance to spend four days there. There were other rooms just being renovated during my stay. The results are good: nothing luxorious but quite comfortable, although the quality of the work is not perfect. The restaurant and its chef are... More

The friendly staff make staying here a pleasant experience, even if there are some shortcomings in the facilities. Most of the rooms are small, and mine wasn't very well built: the bathroom window wouldn't shut, which let the mosquitos in and the door didn't fit the frame properly. There was no natural light in my room as the windows opened... More
