Stayed at this hotel early May and it exceeded our expectations. Were due to arrive a.m. via desert Express train but train delayed till 5.30p.m. due to derailment. Manager came to station to make sure we had transport to hotel as they had heard about train delay! Central location, good service and breakfast, rooms clean and attractive although the look is a bit dated. The hotel offers everything you need for a short business or tourist stay, although visitors to Namibia shouldn't spend longer than a day in Windhoek, which really does not offer much in terms of tourist attractions. This is a fairly central hotel and part of the Protea chain so the good standard we experienced is likely to be retained. Room was nice and clean - no complaints Didn't try restaurant but the hotel is close to the new "NICE" restaurant (Mozart Street) which we can recommend although it is expensive by Namibian standards. more
No real complaints, rooms are ok, restaurant is a little expensive for Namibia but at least it is is reasonably central. Rooms are a little small and not particularly attractive, but generally ok. more
