We stayed at the Safari for a bit over two weeks on a combination business and sightseeing trip. First off, it should be made clear that there are two separate hotels on this property, the Safari and the Safari Court. We stayed at the Safari, an older, bigger facility. The Safari Court is a much newer hotel. There is a... More

Roomy and excellent if sharing so much space. Clean, had a a shower drain issue but it was sorted out in time. Great buffet dinner and breakfast and I loved the onsite coffee shop. Bathrooms and Tv need to be modernized and wifi a tad slow but available complimentary basis. Porters extremely helpful. Useful for large groups we were many... More

This hotel is located nearby Eros Airport outside the city. Every hour there is a free shuttle to the center and back. The rooms are big and clean. There is airco. Breakfast is amazing good. Very nice stay.

We spent one night here, and that was enough! Our room was oldfashioned, not very clean, the bathroom was extremely small and the airco sounded like a jetplane, you had to turn it off at night! The swimming pool was nice and breakfast too, but service was a bit slow. Okay for one night, but we would not choose it... More

We stayed at The Safari Hotel for one night at the beginning of November. The staff were all very helpful and attentive. We ate in the restaurant as it was the easiest option rather than wandering in unknown surroundings. There was a carvery and a large choice of buffet items. It was very reasonably priced and adequate. The breakfast was... More

The room was ok (it was rather clean) but a tad too old. When it comes to the bathroom, it needs more cleaning (I found hair in the shower when I arrived). Also... the rooms are a bit "far" from the reception (approx. 5 minute walk), so it might be tricky if you travel with a lot of heavy suitcases.... More

We stayed here for a conference for a couple of days. Let's start with the good things: The hotel has a big and clean pool with a nice garden. The rooms however are old and need to be renovated, including furniture and the bathrooms. The worst part about it: The food and the waiters. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner... More

Lukewarm water, poorly maintained rooms, dreadful service, lack of visible management, poor training of staff, lack of porters, and unhelpful receptionists sums up the Hotel Safari. I am a cat lover but was quite disgusted to find a plethora of neglected cats and kittens around the rooms. Visited the hotel a few years ago and it has definitely deteriorated since... More

Please do not waist your time and money to go to the Restaurant of the Safari Hotel in Windhoek. Their waiters are doing their best, but their food is pathetic. They charge you N$130,00 per person for Sunday Lunch Buffet but the food they provide and the choices available is worse than that of a corner cafe take-away. Some of... More
