From the warm, friendly service, to the lovely peaceful room, to the central location, this place ticked all the boxes for us. We also loved being able to cook our own meals in the well equipped kitchen, select a bottle of wine from the rack and enjoy our dinner inside or by the pool. more

We lived in Rivendell for 1 night in between our Namibia safari tour. The guest house was very pretty, the rooms are nice and spacious and Mandine's (the owner) hospitality was impressive. If I ever visit Windhoek again, I would stay in this guest house for sure. more

My husband and I stayed at the Rivendell December 23rd through the 25th, 2008 and could not have been more satisfied.
