From our arrival to departure, nothing was too much trouble at this friendly guesthouse in Windhoek. The room was clean and comfortable, with air conditioning to keep us cool. The decor and furnishings are modern and tasteful. There is a lovely little pool area, although we did not have enought time to use it. The front desk booked us a... More

I stayed here at the start of my Namibian Holiday. Its a well run clean guesthouse. My room was large & clean. There is a small room safe. Wifi in rooms as well. Staff very friendly & helpful you only have to ask. Set evening meal but very good. There is also a small sun deck & pool. Ideal for... More

I stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the feel of the place with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere is relaxed with airy and clean rooms. Although a set menu each night the dinners were really good and are worth the extra cost.

Small very pleasant guesthouse with nice clean rooms and very comfy bed. Safe in room and very helpful staff. In a resdiential area but easy to get into main part of the town. Breakfast was good. there is a nice area to lunge in.

Lovely small guesthouse towards the northern edge of Windhoek in a middle class area. Small pool and sun terrace. Decor was tasteful/modern and decorated to a high standard. Spacious rooms with wet room facilities. Food was good and dinner was very reasonable. Service was efficient, and staff helpful. Close to supermarket and petrol station to stock up for onward journey

We stayed here for one night at the start of our holiday. We had a very warm welcome from all the staff. The rooms was clean and comfortable. We chilled out by the pool before going out for dinner. The breakfast was very good and we had a delicious pack lunch which we ordered ready for our departure.

Our first encounter on arrival from the airport was of a building in a residential neighbourhood of a rather unprepossessing appearance. However, this belied the welcome we received. We were immediately made to feel at home by the helpful local staff for our one night stay. The complimentary afternoon tea with freshly baked cake served by the pool was exactly... More

OK,our first hotel/guesthouse in Namibia so cannot pretend any great knowledge, but here goes. Pleasant, open area series of rooms in low rise building in suburbs. Really quite good supper of asparagus followed by a kudu steak with fried vegetables and a pudding of creme Caramel Spacious, modern rooms and bathroom.Only downside,at least in room 8 was that the door to the... We stopped here for one night on our way from Johannesburg to start our Namibia adventure. The Galton House is in a residential district a few minutes outside the city center. Decor is simple as are the rooms which are a decent size. There is air conditioning in the bedroom plus flat screen TV with international channels. Bathroom was quite... More

On the edge of town but that was not really an issue as we arrived from the UK and were happy to have a few beers and our evening meal at the Galton. Everyone is friendly and helpful and the open kitchen and honesty bar are nice touches. Dinner and breakfast fresh and tasty. Room a little on the small... More
