We stayed at Galton House's only one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Rooms were large and spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was very functionnal and nicely designed. A special mention for their great breakfast.

This was our first stop (and final stop) on a family tour. Rooms are spacious and located around a central court. Main staff is friendly and helpful although room staff is essentially non-English speaking. Excellent breakfast consisting of a buffet with cooked options. Location is a bit of a walk from center city and not convenient for walking after hours... More

We had an amazing time in Galton House. We stayed there 2 nights. We had a good welcome from Ana, she was amazing. The breakfast and dinner is really good. we just had a trouble to return to airport, the shuttle service from galton house was not working. we ordered a cab around 7 am and just arrived 8:10 am.... I stayed here twice--once at the start of my two week visit to Namibia and then again before I left the country. I simply loved this place and wish I could duplicate its ambience and service in other cities. It has a modern vibe with its furnishings and colors--with fabulous oversized photos on the walls of area wildlife. The bedrooms... More

The guest house has a variety of rooms some better than others. Near the road not so good near the pool far better. Nice pool but loungers could be improved.Staff willing and friendly. Breakfast unexciting cold fare. Dinner - all I can say is that on the second visit we made sure that we eat elsewhere: first time round chef... More

We spent one night at Galton House at each end of our Namibian driving tour. The staff were friendly & helpful, the room was simple but had everything we needed including quality toiletries, drinking water & tea & coffee making facilities. We decided to have dinner at Galton House as the evening menu on reception desk sounded quite appetising. The... More

My husband and I stayed at the Galton Guesthouse for one night in the beginning of our trip and one night at the end. Each stay was great. The rooms are very clean and quite spacious. The showers are warm and the air conditioner works well. The breakfast is very tasty with plenty of options. We didn't eat dinner at... More

This feels like a really safe and reassuring place to arrive in the city, with warm and friendly staff, lovely rooms, good food and a nice pool for cooling off in. We just spent one night here before heading off into the desert, but I'd be very happy to stay here again.

I enjoyed an incredible overlanding tour in Namibia with wildlife and dunes and rock carvings. This city girl slept on the ground in a tent most of those nights. I am also a grandma so sleeping was a challenge in those conditions. When we arrived back in Windhoek I was delighted to land at Galton House, a true oasis. And... More

Although located not near the city center this hotel offers you beautiful, clean, charming and big rooms. It has also a small pool. Breakfast was good. Hospitality is genetically imprinted in Nambians. Employees of this lodge are one example of it.
