A group of eight family members recently stayed at the Olive at the start and end of our travels in Namibia so we were able to sample the decor of 5 different suites. Each is individually designed and decorated with a complete bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower and tub and living room with leather sofas and chairs. In addition the... More

My husband and I stayed here to begin and end our 2 week's of travel around Namibia and it was absolutely perfect! The rooms are gorgeous and large with a sitting area, dining space, outdoor patios and the bath room has all the amenities including a soaking tub accompanied by bath salts. The breakfast and dinner options are well versed... More

We stayed twice in two different rooms and were impressed with the attention to detail in the well equipped rooms which are spacious and elegant. There is a luggage area, massive bathrooms and huge comfortable beds. African artefacts abound. Sherry and port in decanters. Good food. Tobias is a wonderful host.

This truly is a place of luxury. Seven hillside suites set amongst an olive grove, individually decorated to reflect the different regions in Namibia. Oversized photographs, natural textures and furnishings mixed with retro tid bits; even a cut and polished granite boulder that serves as a coffee table in the guest lounge. Our apartment-style premier suite is just as lavish.... More

A beautiful place to stay. Congenial staff, food great and not overpriced.Comfortable large sized room I had Suite 6, next to the entrance.Hot water bottle at night was a nice touch. I was able to leave a few belongings behind prior to my Safari so I was not overweight on the small aircraft. They were waiting for me on my... More

This hotel is too good to be true. It is small, but the rooms are just enormous with king sized bed, walk-in showers, and huge tubs. They have a veranda, an entry foyer, and wonderful room appointments. There is an espresso machine in the room, a hammock in a small patio, and couches and easy chairs. In short it cannot... More

Stayed here with the family in June 2015. We stayed here on the way in and out of Namibia for a safari tour. The location is at the top of a hill in a quiet and upscale neighborhood...while being close enough to walk downtown (2km). The rooms were a big surprise to me...each suite is designed differently to reflect the... More

What a great hotel. We had the best made to order breakfast here. Had a very good dinner at a reasonable price which was nice because you are kind of a captive here if you are on a fly safari as we were. I got a fabulous, much needed hot stone 90 min. massage in our suite which was very... More

Eco friendly boutique hotel in a quite corner of Windhoek with dedicated personal service and exelent food to match . We booked one of the premier suites and enjoyed the complete private outside area with a plunge pool. Here every suite refects a different region in NAMIBIA. They are extremely spacious and individually decorated in a cool contemporary style but... More

We stayed in room 4- an enormous suite delightfully decorated in an eclectic mix of driftwood, modern glass, steel, solid marble... The decor almost defies description but the result is wonderful. The bathroom is huge and delightful while the bed is almost as big and absolutely sumptuous! This is 5 star unique African city comfort and style at its peak.... More
