We were a group of 24 and they looked after us really well. We got up early and they always had breakfast ready and were helpful and accommodating when we got back late. The food is excellent, the service pretty good, the rooms smart and clean, the pool is big and clean and its in a great position. I have... More

First impressions were great - garden, pool, restaurant, lots of cats around... The room was not bad either, if we disregard the fact that a huge jacuzzi was in the middle of it and that the toilet doors were see through... However, there were simply too many other flaws. The free wifi they offer is non existent (at least that... More

I was booked in here by my company as the project I am working on can't stretch to my usual excellent destination - the Cardoso. First impressions were good when I arrived - it has a lovely leafy courtyard with pool, surrounded by the rooms. If decorated and run by someone who knew what they were doing it could be... More

Don't go here. There is no consistency with the rooms. Half of our business party got decent rooms, and half got terrible ones. The food served at breakfast was old. There were insects all over the food and staff were very reluctant to assist. Rather pay extra and go somewhere else.

Going to mangas for me its like going home. Everyone is friendly and the pool small and private. Dont expect a 5star hotel, but more a guest house. Location could not be better, but at night is very calm for you to sleep. Thank you all and hope to be back soon

I spent one night here after traveling a great deal from Johannesburg to Maputo, and before spending 6 weeks at a guesthouse in Maputo. After traveling, I was excited about the great presentation of the hotel from the outside and the warm welcome. I was in the Singapore Suite which had a comfortable bed that was decorated with flowers. The... More

Spent two nights at this cozy city hotel. Lovely location, walking distance to many eating places. The rooms are of average size with basics. Didn't eat at the hotel given the proximity to lots of restaurants.

There was a big trade fair in Maputo. Rooms were fully booked at the better hotels. I was glad for a place to unpack my bag. Restaurant on street is nice. Good wine. Lots of champagne. Nice fish. Staff are primarily non-English speaking. Challenging for me. Rooms were strange. First, I was given a key. A metal key. The old... More

Everything was a terrible experience. Never ever stayed in such a hotel and to think it was $180 per double B&B. The reception was inefficient or they pretended not to understand. The service the rooms everything was not up to standard.

I stayed in this "guest house" for a night only, on my travellings within Mozambique. However, the service is really bad, at least at the reception. We were promised early breakfast because we needed to travel early, we were promised and then nothing was ready. The reception guy did not even bother to arrange with anything with the kitchen, as...
