The service, cleanliness, and value is amazing. The location, situated in a safe and scenic point, offers great views of the ocean and downtown core. We only stayed for one night, but we wished we could have stayed much longer. I highly recommend the Hotel Cardoso. more

My room was nicely-decorated and large with two balconies, a table and chairs and a sofa/seating area. Suprisingly there were no mini-fridge, iron, hair dryer or other amenities. The bathroom was quite sterile with strange lighting, a poorly-designed shower that leaked water all over the floor and a sewer smell coming from the drain. This hotel was recently remodeled and the new rooms are lovely. Many have balconies with lovely ocean views and the breakfast and dinner buffets are excellent. However, I wound up moving to a different hotel mainly because of many cockroaches in my beautifully remodelled room as well as in the hallways. Very Good Hotel. Is a colonial building. Has a very good view to Maputo Bay and you can see a very beautiful sunset. The room was very large with a litlle balcony with view to the sea.
