I stay in this Hotel one month! The staff is frendly and rooms are very clean. Sometimes there is a little bit of noise at night... the SPA is ok, the breakfast is excellent, and the Hotel is in a very good location.

It is one of the newest hotels in Maputo with big rooms and close to the JAT buildings complex (were the majority of the companies are). The restaurant in the hotel is expensive and not good. Definitely you can get better value for money on the restaurants around Julius de Neireles street. The breakfast is included in the rate and... More

I stayed here for 4 days for a business meeting. The hotel looks brand new and is well maintained. Beds are roomy, comfortable and clean. You get complementary Internet (although the speed was somewhat disappointing). My room had a wraparound balcony so you can have a quiet drink at night. The restaurant serves decent quality food. Staff is friendly and... More

I unfortuantely had to stay in the Afrin twice over the course of a week. The rooms have an unpleasant feel to them. The showers change temperatures drastically, so much so that I got quite unpleasantly burned and had a red back for 4 days. Showed that to the reception but they did not care at all. The TV is... The hotel is located downtown, nearby the city mall. That means it's not in the most prestigious areas of the city, despite being not far way from main attractions. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to and from the airport, despite it's only available until 11 p.m.. Breakfast is very good, with different options. Rooms/apartments are large, probably too... I was skeptical as we approached the hotel, which is in a downtown area, however, upon entering the hotel i was comforted by the security and the well appointed reception area. Service was professional and adequate, but not exceptional. The room as very large, with a kitchenette area, however the facilities were basic. The TV was tiny...probably 20 inches. Do... More

Even far from the city center this hotel is close to Maputo Shopping Mall. It has a great and modern decoration from the reception area to the rooms and lazer areas. The suit master we stay at it was very big with a small kitchen and bar. The bed is confy and big and the view from the room to... More

When traveling to Maputo on business my first choice is Afrin. The hotel is secure and the rooms are huge, clean and well equipped, Wi-Fi is also available. The restaurant is also a big plus. They serve an excellent dinner choice and the buffet breakfast is something to behold. There are also shoe cleaning/polishing machines on all floors, clost to... More

Stayed here for the first time during a business trip. My client booked me in. Not a bad place, recently built. The rooms are massive, TV a bit small (too small to watch in bed). Despite what other reviewers said I found the wifi internet quite fast, managed a really good video skype call to my family back in SA.... More

The hotel is somewhat removed from Avenida Julius Nyerere which has a number of hotels and restaurants (would recommend that area) so requires a cab to get around or eat meals. Overall, rooms are large compared to other hotels and of generally good quality. Restaurant in underwhelming, while internet connection is SLOW. Would aim for the Avenida.
