A wonderful location, great amenities, perfect setting - lots to do if you want to, and nothing to bother you at all if you don't. Some comments for the detail merchants out there.... We visited St.Geran last year in july and we found it very nice: from arrival,to the 24 h. butler,the food( i recommend half board) the beach( the sand on the beach) is by far the best in Mauritius. I have been to Le Saint Geran twice with my wife and will recommend it any day. The general ambiance, service and food are second to none. Top tip (see link below) is to book half board. Read the reviews on TripAdvisor and hoped Le Saint Geran would live up to expectations. In almost all respects it beat them ( sadly for the high prices as well - but that goes with the territory ).
