The size of the rooms are really big and the place is very clean. My disappointment was the breakfast - it is obscenely expensive! £10 for a cup of tea and a croissant! In the end I went to the supermarket and brought nuts and dried fruit instead. Dinner is cheaper but not that great so best to eat elsewhere... More

We held a conference here for 55 people. The meeting room was large enough, and there was an area outside the conference room with a serving bar and sink where we could prepare our coffee breaks. Bathrooms clean, though we had to remind them about TP. My room was humongous and very comfortable, with a sitting area with TV, and... More

The rooms were large, clean, comfortable. Service was inconsistent. AC worked well. Swimming pool was good sized and clean. The carpets in hallways and lobby were dirty and worn. The main dishes were good. The salads were very small. The sandwiches were not good. Wifi worked from the rooms, could even Skype.

Certainly not a four star hotel as stated in its website but good enough to meet average needs. With my colleagues, we have spent four nights, which were challenging at times with rooms, bathrooms, wifi and food quality. Staff is friendly some doing more than others. This hotel has some potential but more work is needed to meeting industry standards... More

I spent 7 nights at the Azalai for business. The hotel was adequate in the basics, clean, air-conditioning worked, bed was comfortable and staff were friendly. Hot water proved to be a challenge if you wanted to shower at peak times, internet at times would cut in and out and the place is party central on weekends. I found the... More

This is not a four star hotel, like the site claims. But, it's not a bad hotel. The staff are very nice and will try to accommodate you as best they can. Most staff do know enough English to assist you, but you may need to find one that speaks English well if you have a very specific request. The... More

I stayed in Azalai Grand hotel for 5 nights in July 2015. The hotel was good enough. The room are small, and bathroom not ideal (shower especially). Breakfast could be better too (we had to ask for fruits!). The security is nevertheless good. Be careful with celebration over weekend because then you won't sleep. Location is convenient and staff helpful

Dear Guest First , we would like to thank you for your recommendation , but we are not sure you are talking about the Azalai Grand Hotel but about the hotel next door Azalai Dunia, because in Azalai Grand Hotel ours rooms are very big, also the bath room with bathtub with shower and when you speak about celebration, sometimes... Nice hotel, the rooms were good and clean. Airco was working and the shower and toilet are good and clean. The pool is also cleaned on a daily base. Breakfast and lunch are good as is diner with lots of fruit and vegetables. Wifi is slow. When you are in Bamako I certainly recommend this hotel.

I've stayed at this Place a few times, for about a week each time. Although quite expensive, it is a comfortable Place to stay and offers good working possibilities for those travelling for business. Internet may be off or slow, but that's probably a provider issue and not a hotel problem. There are ATM's in the hotel, which is a... More

This place is actually a good one for those staying in Bamako for business. Rooms are spacious and clean. The staff very helpful and always ready to help and assist. The place needs however improvement. Wifi network is very slow. TV in the room is not set in a way to allow guests to watch comfortably. After a hectic day,... More
