La Coccinelle is a decent hotel, considering the price. Safe, secure, and with friendly staff. Rooms are variable -- from tiny to apartment style -- but are in good condition and generally comfortable with key amenities including mosquito netting and air conditioning. The rooms, linens, and towels could be cleaner but the staff was always friendly about replacements and thankfully... More

I discovered myself leaving early for the office because of the sporadic connectivity in my room. The rooms themselves are OK. The BBC went off cable on my second day, so I was... More

I was put onto this place after the other main hotels being full. How happy was I?? The hotel is more like a motel with rooms being accessed from exterior doors. There is a pool and a small but reasonably stocked gym. The restaurant serves good food and staff are friendly. Wifi can be slow and I didn't have working... More

This was a good stay. The hotel is small and simple. But most importantly very clean. The WiFi was working all throughout my stay (a week). The rooms are pretty large, AC works well, there are mosquito nets on the beds. There is a restaurant in the hotel with good food, a little pricey but not more that the other... More

La Coccinelle (ladybird), is a very simple, but pleasant hotel just outside the centre of Bamako. I stayed in a hotel room, but there are also apartments for those who want to stay a bit longer. The hotel room is large, with TV a fridge, there is wifi and there are plenty of mosquitoes. Fortunately each room has a good... More

Nice hotel with decent restaurant and working wifi, which may not be extremely fast but from the room I could have Skype meetings without major problems. There is also a swimming pool. Had a nice big room with a small kitchen, satellite tv with more than 100 channels, most in French but more than enough in English too (news, movie... More
