We didn't stay at the B&B Ambassagou, but we went on our personalised, organised tour with ambassagou (ambassagou.com/related to the B&B) completely according to our wishes. Very nice tourguide, flexible, experienced and very professional. I travelled al lot around the world, also in West Africa, but traveling in Mali with a personal guide, is very luxe. They understand what you... More

I just returned from Mali (January/February). I traveled on a 14day overland tour and was based in Ambassagou, a family run bed and breakfast in Bamako. The service was brilliant, they managed to book me the exact tour that I was looking for very quickly and easily for a reasonable price. They gave me an excellent guide named Abdala from... More

The accomodation was clean and tidy. The kids had enough room to play in the courtyard. The erea in which the Ambassagou B&B is situated... More

Arriving midnight, no problem, they provide transfers but also all kinds of tips and help to find your way. Nearby is a cool swimming pool on the Niger river. I went often to the nice market nearby, where... More

Nice place to stay. The owners and their staff are very friendly and helpfull. The rooms are very clean. They have a nice courtyard 'court' , where breakfast is served. You can also have lunch or dinner. The area is very practical. Markets, restaurants, bars, banks are easy to find.
