I was staggered and relieved to end up in this hotel. I paid for a business class room, which was excellent for the solo traveller and worthwhile. The usual West African caveats apply regarding food and service, but this is at the better end of the spectrum. Safe, clean, good internet. Would be happy to return.

I stayed in this hotel for a week in early April. I was spoiled since I was given a Business Class room -- the bar in the room was a particularly nice touch. You'll find all the amenities in this hotel; the outside pool and covered table areas made evening refreshment time fun, and the band on Friday night was... More

I travel extensively in Africa and of course expect western style accommodations when I'm in places like Johannesburg. In other places, the selections can be quite hit or miss. The radisson blu in Bamako was a real surprise. It's certainly not 5 stars by western standards but a truly excellent hotel for a place like Mali. The room was very... More

Modern hotel with nice rooms. Mine had two areas- half was the bedroom and bathroom and the other a living room and kitchenette. Outdoor pool area is nice to unwind after a day traveling or in the city. There are several security guards who limit both vehicle a pedestrian access. Only complaint was the $40 US cost for a bag... The hotel offers a high standard of comfort and a very good breakfast buffet. The staff is very friendly. The swimming pool is small. The room that I get was very spacious and modern. I appreciate the Nespresso machine in the room. The hotel doesn't provide any nice view on the Niger and the garden is very small.

This hotel is conveniently located and probably one of the better in Bamako. The place suffers unfortunately by poor service (slow, staff forgets to bring you what you order, not very friendly most of them and overall gives a very bad impression). You simply feels ignored. Rooms are surprisingly dark, small, noisy - you can hear what is happening in... More

This is the newest and probably best of the big hotels in town. Currently many foreign soldiers from the MINUSMA and AFISMA forces staying here, saw Danish, Germans, US. Therefore strong security, although Bamako is pretty safe anyway. Free Wifi works well. Service is excellent fro African standards. Food is ok. Pool area quite nice, including Air France crews. This is the best hotel in Bamako. The pool is crisp, the food is delicious, the gym is clean and readily available. The staff is amazing, always attentive and service with a smile. Fadawa is an examplar of the Radisson Blu. She is pleasant and leads the hotel staff by example. She is attentive to the needs and follows through... More

I stayed three nights at this hotel. I was happy for the first night because it had a deep bathtub but it was small. Still, after a long road trip, it was nice to soak for an hour. The amenities were very nice. I don't usually use the shampoo and conditioner but this brand made my hair feel nice. The... More
