I stayed at the Al Kendi hotel for the first 3 nights of my recent visit to Libya. My room was clean and comfortable. We have just returned from Libya and stayed at this hotel on three separate occasions. It might not be situated in the smartest area of Tripoli but at least it is convenient for walking to the souk and to Green Square. We stayed in the Al Kendi Hotel for 4 nights in March 2007. The Al Kendi Hotel is 2 blocks from Sharia Omar al-Mukhtar, a main road which leads onto Green Square (approximately a 20 minute walk).
