More cosy but similar standard as the Palm Springs where I have stayed before. The place suffers from too few guests and looks a bit neglected. Close to the beach, City Centre, supermarket. Staffs are friendly. Would stay there again.

I recently vacationed in Liberia and stayed at Moko's. Returning home for the first time after a number of years, I wasn't too certain of what to expect. I arrived after 8 pm and appreciated that the proprietress requested staff to immediately notify her upon my arrival - she wanted to know that I'd arrived safely. I was touched and... More

This was my third time staying at Mokos. They are trying to 'improve' the facility, though I still marvel at the uneven stairs throughout the place. Breakfast goes between adequate to odd (cabbage & vegetable soup for breakfast?) But each trip we look at other facilities that are twice the price for almost the same quality. I've stayed in Africa... More

I have been coming to Monrovia for a number of years and finding good accomodation here is quite a challenge. Until I found out about Mokos. It is well-situated, nice & tidy, has warm water, close to the beach, breakfast is great, but what I like the most of Mokos is the friendliness of the staff. The owner lives in... More

I have stayed in two hotels in Monrovia and this is by far the most outstanding. Mokos Bed and Breakfast was truly a home away from home. Working air conditioning, flat screen television, refrigerator, beautiful bathroom with plenty of hot water. Clean, Comfortable, Peaceful and a safe environment if traveling alone. I came with alot of clothes the walk in... More

I absolutely loved staying at Moko B & B! I felt like I was at home. Wonderful breakfast, very clean, great location and such kind and accommodating staff! Short walk from some great places to eat and grocery stores, as well as a great view of the beach. I was sad to leave!

I arrived without a booking and was turned away, even though the hotel seemed to be deserted. I went back for 3 nights, and found the experience mixed, Wonderful breakfasts, and it is definitely a safe place to stay, but the rooms were damp and musty. The shower didn't work, nor the TV or aircon! Service was patchy, depending on... More

I stayed here for almost a week, and it was great. Spacious rooms, great staff, and close to the action on Tubman Boulevard, yet far enough away for it to feel quiet. The internet is super slow though, but that's common for Monrovia standards. Big breakfasts, and yes, the nicest staff in Monrovia. So accommodating, and the owner gives it... More

This is my third time staying at Mokos. I have traveled both solo, and this time with a group renting a total of four rooms. Very good value for the money compared to other establishments in the area. ALL the staff is very friendly and accommodating, even taking care of little requests from us. The cook is also very good,... More
