We were in Liberia for a few days, the last of which was spent here. The room was at the back of the hotel and was very pleasant. The restaurant and room service were excellent, nothing was too much for them and they were very polite. This, however cannot be said of the reception desk staff, who were rather disinterested... Stayed at this hotel for the second time, for a week. Rooms are slightly rustic, but very comfortable and clean, with air conditioning and comfortable beds. There were no problems with the rooms. Both times we stayed towards the back of the hotel, which was fairly quiet. The staff were very friendly and welcomed us back. The restaurant food was... More

This is not a hotel review, but just a restaurant one. Went for dinner, good Lebanese chef, which means you can get both lebanese dishes, but also simple chicken breast or steack with a choice of vegetable or chips side, which is a nice change if you're looking for something nice and simple. Restaurant is laid back, the outdoor bit... More

This hotel is next to the Samuel Kenyon Doe stadium in Monrovia. This is an old hotel just renovated. I spent one night there before it was inaugurated. We were the first guests on our floor. Everything was clean and comfortable, nothing fancy. The bathroom was not completely new like the rest. There is almost nothing to do there except... More

16 in our team stayed at the Golden Key for about 7 days. The breakfast, included in the hotel fee, was great. You could order off of the nice menu, American style, or Liberian style food. The hotel workers were very good to us. We had 1 team member who was very sick for a couple of days, and someone... More

Been at this place for 6 nights now. Sure guys freindly but always 3 at reception and at least 2 asleep behind the counter. No hot water despite promises and moved to 3 different rooms. Cold water is what to expect and barely enough pressure to even shower. Music blares outside so almost impossible to even watch TV. Reception on... More
