I am a photojournalist and I travel. Many of the places I visit are difficult paces to work in, with an element of danger. On this trip, Liberia was experiencing a crisis, but I wouldn't have known it after walking through the doors of the Cape Hotel. Whatever was going on in the outside world was gone once I was... I highly recommend this hotel. The managers and staff are very nice, friendly, accommodating and professional. The rooms are very clean, spacious, modern and quiet. The rooms have wifi, large dresser, cable tv and a fridge. The rooms have a very secure safe to secure your valuables. The restaurant served delicious food and the servers are amazing. I would recommend... More

often when you travel to a place like Liberia, you worry about sanitation and security. Not only was the Cape Hotel safe and sanitary (particularly during the Ebola outbreak in the country), but it made me feel very comfortable. In particular, the manager, Anwar, was delightful and always doing whatever he could to ensure our stay was comfortable. Without a... More

I recently spent 2 weeks at the cape hotel. The rooms were nice and clean and the entire staff was extremely friendly. The rooms had wifi, cable tv, nice bathrooms, large dresser, and a safe. I would recommend staying there.

I recently stayed at the Cape Hotel and can only describe it as a home away from home. Anwar the manager and his team looked after me as though I was family, nothing was too much for them. The food was delicious with nice portion sizes and lots of variety. The rooms are clean, modern and very comfortable. There is... More

I stay at the Cape Hotel every time I travel to Liberia for work. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. My last stay was for six weeks in Jan-Feb 2014. The Cape Hotel is definitely my home away from home. A very safe environment and the management and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has a very nice breakfast buffet... More

I was having dinner. Friends ordered me a bottle of wine as a surprise via email to the hotel email address. I received the wine and desert on the house within 5 minutes of email. Now that is exceptional service. Well done. I will be back for more surprises

Just about everything is good with the hotel and the adjoining restaurant except the lower floor rooms with the bad smells, dodgy electrics, unbelievably cheap and backbreaking foam mattresses. I was hung out in one of these rooms and the management offered apologies and excuses as they have for some time. Perhaps they will fix the situation perhaps they won't.... More

I stayed for a week at the Cape Hotel while on a business trip to Monrovia. The hotel room was nice and the internet was fast and throughout the building which is what I needed for work. The staff were generally helpful but the ladies at the front desk were not exactly friendly. Business centre is sufficient but really just... More

I have been staying at this amazing hotel where their hallmark is customer service! Having stayed there in 2012 it was not a difficult decision to return as I was then blown away by the amazing management and staff and by the conveniences. Although Monrovia is not the easiest place to navigate, the Cape was always a welcome reprieve after... More
