Made a stressful tour of duty on Ebola fight as comfortable as possible given the circumstances. Hotel staff were always great and tried to be attentive to our every need....including serving Mexican food buffet when we missed our home-cooking! Hotel and restaurant were kept spotless and the food was wonderful.....I even acquired a few pounds during my stay that I... More

I stayed at this hotel for 6 weeks with a crew of 5 people assisting in the Ebola epidemic. During this period I did not experience any problems during my stay. The support of Ghassan (general manager), Anwar (manager) and Gregg (restaurant manager) was out of this world. They were always asking if everything was fine and went out of... More

Stayed at the Cape hotel for over a month as part of the international response to the Ebola epidemic. While my time in Liberia was stressful overall, my time at the Cape made my experience only only tolerable, but enjoyable. The location overlooking the ocean made evenings on the veranda feel like like an undeserved vacation, to say nothing of... More

Even in the midst of the Ebola crisis with a completely full hotel taxing guest services, The Cape Hotel delivered. Every staff member is unfailingly friendly and works hard to be responsive to needs and requests. The rooms will not win awards for decoration, but they are exceptionally clean and are comfortable. Internet is generally fine but can get overloaded... More

As a foreign correspondent, I stay in hotels all over the world. The Cape Hotel is hands down the friendliest place I've ever stayed, from the owner/manager all the way down to the night janitor. Even in a difficult situation - the Ebola crisis sweeping through Liberia - the staff always had a smile and a kind word. The restaurant... More

This hotel has a beautiful terrace with a view of the ocean, and very nice rooms. Good food too. But above all the service is stunning. People here really go the extra few miles to make you feel welcome. It has a warmth and care about detail that makes it a great place to stay. You won't regret staying here.

Our group of 5 is staying here, assisting on the Ebola crisis. I believe it is the only place to stay, when visiting Liberia. The managers are going out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Already here for 5 weeks and surely many more to come. Accommodation, catering and service of the highest standard. Dont... More

I was in Monrovia doing work related to the Ebola outbreak. I was tired after every day at work but the staff at the Cape Hotel were very friendly and I found the atmosphere just what I needed. It is safe, food is great, staff are wonderful...

I am a photojournalist and I travel. Many of the places I visit are difficult paces to work in, with an element of danger. On this trip, Liberia was experiencing a crisis, but I wouldn't have known it after walking through the doors of the Cape Hotel. Whatever was going on in the outside world was gone once I was...
