This hotel and its employees are extremely cordial and helpful. The adjoining restaurant is directed by a very capable manager, and the wait staff are exceptionally kind. There's also a comfortable bar.

I have just stayed at the Cape Hotel again after almost 18 months and in my view, there isn't another hotel in Monrovia that even comes close in terms of customer service! On visits to Monrovia when the Cape has been fully booked, I have stayed at hotels like the Royal and Mamba Point, but the staff in those hotels... More

Convenient for business and truly attentive service during the visit. The restaurant buffet was remarkable, and the menu extensive. Only challenge was that food came out of the kitchen at different times.

This is my favorite hotel in Monrovia. We've found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Also, it feels very safe. I've stayed here 6 times for extended stays, and have never heard of an incident of theft or danger to a guest. There is a 4th floor ocean facing patio where you can sit, enjoy the view, and catch... Was relocated to Monrovia for work and the company I worked for chose to house me at the Cape Hotel. As a result, I lived at the Cape for nearly two months and from the start the staff was courteous and professional (promptly addressing any issue or additional need). Eating meals at the hotel's restaurant was always a joy. The... More

I've stayed at The Cape five times in the last 18 months, with four of those trips being long stays of five to six weeks. It is an excellent hotel. Great location (close to the centre of town, overlooking the ocean, quiet area) and very comfortable rooms which are kept in top condition. Free wifi, very good restaurant, excellent gym,... More

Last month, I paid $200 B and B at the Mamba Point, next door to the Cape Hotel. What's not to like for $180? Swimming pool open and operating (not so at the Mamba Point), good connectivity, nice views from the fourth floor veranda. A caution to the elderly: if you need railings, you won't find them on the upper... More

I cannot say enough about this hotel and what they have done for travelers, the community and the country. They were open for business through the toughest times in Monrovia, Liberia and kept a "can-do" attitude the whole time. The staff from management to the laundry room are always polite, helpful and attentive. I stayed at this hotel for 2... More

I've just return from Monrovia, Liberia, West Africa where I stayed at the Cape Hotel. This was an excellent hotel. Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, and excellent food. The hotel staff are well-trained, professional and attentive. This hotel is one of the best, if not the best, I have stayed at in Africa.

I have had 7 visits to this hotel. The hotel staff is the friendliest and most considerate I have ever experienced. They accommodate our every needs. The food is very good and they do not mind when we ask for special items. The pool is gorgeous and refreshing. The owner is around every day and pays attention to every detail.
