Yes, the breakfast buffet pretty much makes up for a lot; but it's so close to South Africa, the food shouldn't be bad compared with the rest of Africa. The views are nice and the hotel decor is nice and this may be the best Lesotho has to offer. But there were several disappointments which really shouldn't exist in a... More

For a city that has limited resources, this hotel really surpassed my expectations. The staff were amazing and no demand was too much for them. Seems like they have recently had a refurbishment as the rooms are modern, bright and clean, and the whole reception area looks a lot better than it does in the photos. I would highly recomend... Stayed at the Lesotho Sun for 10 days in January 2012. The breakfast buffet (typically included in the room charge) was terrific and is hands down the best place to eat in the morning. The hotel is situated high on a hillside will a great view of the city and surrounding countryside. From most rooms it is easy to see... More

The re-fit at the Lesotho Sun was worth the wait. The new hotel decor is great and gives the Lesotho Sun a great mix of african chic and western style. The new restaurants are good though we had to wait ages to get served at the chinese restaurant which has replaced the lehaha grill. The rooms are the best in... More

The hotel is reasonably good. No use complaining as there is only one other hotel in town (also a Sun group hotel). But I have no complaints about the quality of the rooms. The service was always very, very friendly (maybe even a bit too friendly sometimes!). I have no complaints about the service. The staff do their best and... More

Internet service improved since late 2011, although pricey. Now wireless availability throughout most of hotel. Free internet access in lobby not available anymore. Password access with prepaid vouchers -- Higher capacity vouchers sometimes sold out, so unit cost even higher. Rooms on the city side have best view but tend to be noisy. Occasional parties on the swimming pool patio... More

Stayed there for 6 days whilst on business in Maseru. Had room on 4th floor which had great city view - it was a pleasure to open the curtains in the morning and see/hear Maseru awakening in the Spring sunshine. Room was perfectly good - as commented by others bed was very comfy. Enough TV channels, tea and coffee making... More

I stayed here for two weeks on a business trip during the month of July, 2011. The hotel is quite adequate as far as the room is concerned - nice bed, nice shower, nice flat-screen tv on the wall. There are issues with service at this hotel, that is to say, there is no service at this hotel. There are... More

This hotel is clean & comfortable. Best part was the view of the city. For a business traveler, the internet was spotty (access codes were not working) and there is no business center. Having said that, there is a Chinese restaurant, buffet dinner or food at the bar. I would stay here again given the existing choices in Maseru. More

this hotel is so ridiculous, over priced and useless in all of its aspects, i have to travel around for work and i stay in many hotels but this one beats the record in bad everything. first, a check in took 45 minutes to be completed (at the same time two other guests waited for 20 minutes to get their...
