This is a very old hotel, everything about it is from days gone by. I was in room 119 and a colleague was in room 129. Both our room doors needed some attention as opening and closing required some muscle. The air-conditioning did not work in room 119 as well as the television. The hotel sells internet vouchers which can... More

The hotel itself is old & needs to be updated. It has old furniture & needs some basic maintenance like paint & fixing loose items. For the price i would have to say its value for money as everthing u expect from a hotel is in place. The points they lose on aesthetics are made up by the staff. The... More

In January 2014 my wife and I attended the Christ for all Nations (CfaN) event at Maseru stadium. We were part of a group from African Dream Family Church who attended this farewell to a man who has preached the Word of God to many nations in Africa. We arrived late in the evening at the Maseru Sun where we... More

I stayed at the Sun for 8 days on business. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff friendly. The only downside was that my office had not arranged for early check-in and I arrived mid-morning after 30+ hours traveling only to find out that my room would not be available until 4:00. Due to the way they clean the... More

Clean, comfortable and affordable. Buffet was included in the rate. Food was okay. I was on a business trip and the hotel met my needs. Friendly and helpful staff. Booking through the hotel reservations got me a discount.

The hotel is touted as a 5 Star hotel! I was very impressed that I got upgraded after booking online and really looked forward to a relaxing evening watching TV and sipping on some wine... I was informed that their phones were not working upon checking in and these were sorted out within no time. Both TV sets were nonoperational... More

I was travelling alone and stayed at the Maseru Sun. The staff could not have been more helpful. The bedroom was beautiful with a huge bathroom. The room had a balcony with a chair to sit out on.The breakfast was as good as any other hotel I have stayed in. It has a lovely lobby with plenty sofas to relax... More
