I stayed at Maseru Sun for a week. It was a very homey vibe hotel. The staff was really friendly. The room service menu isn't great though, they should really improve on that, its limited and the food lacks flavour.

I would have rated the hotel 'very good' - value was OK, the room was spacious and well-equipped, service was generally good and food was fine - but the wifi situation let them down. Firstly, it is not complimentary and you have a to pay for a voucher (which is bad enough!); secondly, reception had run out of vouchers so... More

I Stayed here for a week in February. Got picked up in the airport by the hotel and got checked in very easily. Room over looked the car park on the second floor which was fine for me and had a busy view but when the door is closed- it is quiet. Ask for a pool view for sun or... More

Some of the staff were on strike during my stay; a cheerful crowd with colourful umbrellas singing outside the hotel grounds. But the hotel seemed to be in good working order throughout my four days. Large comfortable bedrooms and good standard buffet meals. Some of the fixtures and fittings are a little tired but of good quality nonetheless. A lovely... More

It feels like if this hotel was across the border in South Africa it would have to be updated and upgraded to survive but because it's in Lesotho they don't have to make an effort. Despite the good £/rand exchange rate I was still paying £80+ per night. It was comfortable enough but just very tired with at best mediocre... More

This is a very old hotel, everything about it is from days gone by. I was in room 119 and a colleague was in room 129. Both our room doors needed some attention as opening and closing required some muscle. The air-conditioning did not work in room 119 as well as the television. The hotel sells internet vouchers which can... More

The hotel itself is old & needs to be updated. It has old furniture & needs some basic maintenance like paint & fixing loose items. For the price i would have to say its value for money as everthing u expect from a hotel is in place. The points they lose on aesthetics are made up by the staff. The... More
