Our family stayed here for 3 weeks in December 2013 . We have 4 teenage and adult sons and it was more than perfect . The breakfasts were amazing , the staff kind and friendly and went of their way to help make our stay wonderful . The boys loved the dog and the basketball hoop was a perfect addition... More

I stayed on two different occasions at the GT Guest House (same trip) and was very pleased with my experience. It was hands-down the best place I stayed on two trips to Ethiopia, and the best in Addis. Every breakfast was excellent, with good service. Absolutely loved the avocado smoothies! The room was spacious, clean, comfortable; bathroom was also nice,... More

I've been traveling regularly to Ethiopia for the last 16 years and have stayed at a variety of accommodations - large hotels to small guest houses. The GT Guesthouse has them all beat. It is clean and comfortable with a well-organized and professional staff, offers dependable services (water, power and wifi) AND serves delicious breakfasts. Who could ask for more?

Our volunteer group of 11 people just spent nearly two weeks at the GT Guesthouse. I can't recommend it highly enough. Lewan and her family/employees were incredibly helpful in all respects; it was spotlessly clean, and every morning we were treated to a different and delicious breakfast. Close to everything but the suites also have kitchens so if you don't... More

About a 2km walk from Meskel Square. A very nice guesthouse with friendly staff. Room was clean and quite homely. Shared bathroom and common room with TV (with a number of channels available via satellite). Breakfast included in the morning - as there wasn't many guests when I was there - I could request a time for my breakfast. Free... More

I'm not playing, I really would give it six stars if I could. GT Guesthouse is without a shadow of a doubt the best guesthouse you could find on.the.planet. You heard me right, the planet! I can't recommend this place enough. It is smack down in the middle of Addis so you're close to everything, the rooms are subtly beautiful,... More

I stayed here twice in the past month and it felt like i was coming home. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, comfortable, quiet, and I could go on and on. With the breakfast that is included, i didn't need any lunch. They were not only large, but delicious and varied. With the large sitting/ TV/ reading room and kitchen... More

We are so glad that we settled on this place. Our second floor suite feels palatial after our northern tour, but would doubtless be terrific anytime in Ethiopia. Clean and spacious, with very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, tasty breakfasts, and great service. There are luxurious touches all around, such as the duvets, marble steps and lovely potted plants.... More

How we loved this place in Addis. After touring the north, often spending the night sharing one small room and 3 beds between the five of us, GT Guest house was like heaven! Clean, comfortable, pleasant, spacey.. and Lee really makes you feel at home. We loved how the appartment was just so smart- it was as if really everything... More
