The room was ok, but the bed too hard. Strength: location, price, wifi in the lounge and restaurant. Weaknesses: the breakfast (!!!) is a joke as the rest of the food served. Slow service. Extra charge if you pay with Visa.

Close to western standards. Clean rooms, but maintenance not perfect. Wifi in public areas. No aircon, but not really necessary at this altitude. Good location. Slightly pricey for a locally-owned hotel, but probably worth the bit extra. Breakfast good enough on a good day, but not always. Trying hard to provide good service, but ultimately "this is Africa".

The hotel isn't in the best location for accessing Addis and the room wasn't particularly clean. It didn't feel like a safe part of town to wander about in. When I visited none of the gym/spa facilities were in operation. On the plus side the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant served good quality Ethiopian cuisine.
