We have been lodge to MN by Ethiopian Airlines. OMG. The area was so unfriendly and dark. The staff of the hotel is nice but they can do nothing about the poor quality of the beds, the noise outside, the electrical appliances almost falling in the bathroom sink. Avoid the place if you can ...!!!

All rooms at MN International Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia have notices informing hotel guest to keep their valuables in the hotel safe at the reception. I ignored the notice and paid the price. $500 and GHS308 (Ghanaian Cedis about $162) were stolen from my locked Lojel hard case in the room. I reported the theft to the manager who... More

That was the worst hotel I have ever stayed with. We stayed there a few nights and were changing rooms a few times but every time there was something wrong and not working. Hotels in Addis are not the cheapest one but you can pay a bit more and get much better service. Not much was working at this place:... More

Ethiopian airline gave us this hotel for an overnight transiting through Addis. At first, the van which came to pick us up had a flat tire. The driver changed the tire, but then he spits in his hands to clean his hands, yukkie.. It was around 11 PM so didn't have a choice except to ignore and go.. Moment I... More

After spending a month in Ethiopia this was our last hotel before leaving the country and it wins the our award as being one of the worst due its multiple negative issues. Our room had dirty carpet - not just stains, but lots of debris from previous guests still lingering on the floor. The beds are as hard as sleeping... More

Stayed here for one night before continuing our journey. Hotel was comfortable and staff were very helpful. Restaurant had good menu but not all foods available. Room and bathroom were very clean. Bed quite hard but slept quite well. Had an excellent breakfast at 4am before leaving for airport. Transport provided to/from airport which takes the worry out of getting... More

Like most folks staying at this hotel, I was brought here on an ET forced layover in Addis. It was fine for being just a place to rest my head for the night. I would probably not book this place if I were actually staying in the city for business or pleasure, though. The room was very basic, though seemed... More

Ok. Honestly, I didn't book this hotel. I was bumped off an Ethiopian Airlines flight and they thought this was sufficient compensation. If you ever hear MN Hotel in Addis, run! Rooms are large, sparsely furnished, filled with poor decor and unfinished fittings. The management didn't want to offer us dinner even after we showed them the airline comp slips.... More

The room was big, but the beds a bit uncomfortable (this seems to be the case in most Ethiopian hotels). There were no towels in the bathroom, but when we asked for some they were quickly brought to us. There was an efficient water heater in the bathroom, but there was no switch to turn it on and off. You... More
