After a terrible experience at Nyala Hotel, I decided to go to Asmara Central. The location is very good, on Mata street, just fifty metres from Harnet Avenue. The staff is nice and accomodating, when I asked directions they were helpful and their english was good. Rooms are a a bit worn out and the bathrooms are shared, even though... More

The Asmara Central Hotel has a lovely staff that tries its best to accommodate guests. Asmara is currently experiencing rolling blackout and water stoppages. This hotel is centrally located around the corner from Harnet Avenue. The building was constructed some time after the Italian period and belongs to a collection of government run establishments.
