Second trip to N'Djamena. Have been to all 3 major hotels in the city, stayed at the Novotel during my previous trip. (A good 2* in comparision). OK, the Kempinski is a little outside the "city centre", like a 15 minute drive.But once you enter the Lobby, you feel lke being in a real hotel. Huge entrance hall, cosy lobby... more

The electricity is often down. No AC outside of room. The food is bad and the service is very poor. Hotel accepts only cash or Amex. Prices are high for what you get. Hotel is far from center. more
This hotel on the surface appears to be a five star hotel. However, the overall rating should be a 3 star. The bar is very good with a very good selection of beer and liquor. The restaurant is five star. The pool area and the court yard area ire very clean on comfortable. They have a cook out on Friday... more
I spent five nights in Kempinski Hotel in N'Djamena, in Txad. The hotel is correct but is not a five stars hotel. The staff is rude and it's difficult to speak with them. The rooms and the wc are ok with air conditioning. The breakfast and the restaurant are delicious. I had a problem because I couldn't pay with VISA... more
