Not much choice in town, and admittedly local conditions are somewhat challenging, I'm sure it is an uphill battle to just keep the place going. However given the price, the rooms are really below the expeced standard, not much different than the rooms in the Chinese hotel accross the street for half the price. OK, the hotel has nice grounds,... More

I spent a few nights here upon arrival in N'Djamena. Really really over priced rooms in very poor condition, they haven't been refreshed in 30 years and it's visible. Rest of the hotel is so so, relatively ok breakfast and I liked the pool and garden. Rooms are currently being renovated. Stay in IBIS instead, it's next door and just... More

I was there on a business trip and all needed accommodations (desk, wifi, printer,...) worked properly which take off some of the uncertainties you might build up before you go when you don t know the region. Then I thank Vincent and his staff for being professional and friendly at the same time. I had a good time and good... More

I was back last week at Chad, more precisely at Novotel and i had a new room (at last but not least available!). It's the light into the darkness, go to test it!! Moreover, security have been improved successfully. Food in restaurants still good and employees very helpful.

was there during Jan & Feb 2014 on business stay over to go to site. I think it is one of the worst hotels in Africa, right next to the Meridien, the room are run down, smelly and full of mosquitos. If you can avoid Chad and the Meridien...do so...!

I saw a lot of bad things on this hostel but to me this Novotel is not so bad. We have security, place to practice many sports, a very good restaurant, a very nice staff and furthermore, the new room (renovated) is so cool !!

I was on a short 3 days business trip in N'djamena. Before departing, I did my booking. I wasn't expecting to have such awesome and down to earth staffs (those of NOVOTEL N'DJAMENA) as I was deceived by the nature of the airport & its premises. Friendly staffs, good pool and tight security. On my point of view, it is... More

I was in N´ Djamena for a two week business trip, and checked out tripadvisor before going. So, I was really expecting the worst. But I found it not that bad, you have to take in mind, that you are in one of the poorest countries of the world. Try to ask for a room without carpets, maybe this is... More

This is worst Novotel in all over the world. Services are pathetic. They are still using 90's TV sets. Sometimes u'll get mud in your bathtub. Internet speed very slow. Everything is very old and cheap. But room prices are very high. Too much cost for substandard hotel.

Like all "expat" hotels in N'Djamena, it's way overpriced for what you get. If given a renovation and the staff replaced with one that knows what hospitality means, it could actually be a decent place. But that's only if you don't mind the noise from the air traffic due to its proximity to the airport.
