This is a charming French run hotel I decided to book due to the recommendations on Trip Advisor. Staff are very helpful and attentitive and there are nice touches such as free laundry, 7 days a week. Rooms are spacious and have a separate alcove with a table and several chairs. Bathrooms are huge and the plumbing and electricity works.... more

Great little place, centrally located in Bujumbura. Easily by-passed from the main road, just a red steel gate and a wall-painted "Botanika". But inside it's amazing. Just a couple of rooms, so reservations are adviseable. Very clean rooms, nice little garden and bar, very safe and excellent manager (speaks fluent English and French). Good restaurant. No spectacular view, no pool,... more
