Charming and warm hotel with very eager and courteous staff. I stayed there for 4 nights when i was attending a business conference in Botswana. Excellent buffet! Convenient location in the CBD and a few minutes from the Riverwalk shopping centre

The hotel is very pleasant, the rooms are large, clean, well equipped and quiet, with a nice environment on a park. The personal is very courteous ans serviable. There is a very pleasant bar at the pool. Breakfast buffet is very good. Price is OK for the quality. However, 2 points could be better: the quality of the food for... More

Really nice hotel, very convenient, easy parking. The only problem is the arrogance of certain management. In my opinion their arrogance is because there's always a shortage of rooms in Gaborone, even though new hotels have opened recently. They therefore take the attitude that if you don't like it go elsewhere. Rooms in general are ok and comfortable. Staff are excellent, wish I could... More

Stayed here in November/December 2010 for 5 weeks while on business in Gaborone. The Sun is a big hotel with plenty of facilities. Rooms and the hotel in general are kept clean, but the place really could do with a upgrade, especially with good competition from The Grand Palm on the other side of the city. Staff are, on the... Stayed at the Gaborone Sun in March 2013. Staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean enough, but I echo the sentiment of others that this place needs an upgrade/refurbish. It was fine for a few nights. The pool was nice enough, but the property is aged and has seen better days.

We were put here by our hosts in Gabarone and we found the property was over all good. We did not have any bad experience. Rooms were spacious and clean. Toilets and lenin were clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Definitely will go back there.

This was my first time at the Gaborone Sun and I may look elsewhere next time. The hotel is in obvious need of an upgrade or refurbishment. While the staff were friendly, the room was spacious and the breakfast was ok, there were unfortunately a number of things that let it down. The air-conditioning in the room was practically just... If you end up in Gaberone then this is a good hotel to use as your base. The rooms are clean and the staff efficient. They will organize your travel plans within the city. The in house restaurant is quite nice and the morning breakfast is good

Having just come of a thriteen hour plane journey to Johanesburg the day before, followed by a seven hour drive on our day of arrival to Gaborone, me and my dad where far from chirpy on our arrival in the Gaborone Sun Hotel, particularly after a less than pleasent border crossing. However, we were met by a team of efficient... More

I've been visiting Gaborone for the last 1 year and end up staying at Gabs Sun. Every time I visit this hotel, it just keeps getting worse! Not a single thing changes (from already a small number of options) on the breakfast menu, for some reason the breakfast cannot be delivered to the room, the breakfast order card in my... More
