We lived in Planet Lodge 1 for about six weeks. The facilities were clean, the bedroom was large with bathroom en suite, and a sitting/kitchen area that led to a shared balcony. The maid service was good, most of the personnel were friendly and competent. While I can recommend the living quarters, there were problems: no internet connection as advertised, personal cell phone is a must, meals became repetitive and sometimes the lobby smelled like a kitchen, LOUD music in neighborhood and lodge bar on weekends (New Year's Eve was something else), and the location is very inconvenient for all town/university activities.
Advice: bring ear plugs and run the air conditioner, rent a car, buy a cell phone, cook your own meals, and consider staying at the Planet Lodge if you want a boarding house-type facility. more
