I would not recommend this place, and mainly because of the extremely rude and inconsiderate staff. We had planned to stay at the Kgale Lodge for 2 weeks. However, upon arriving, we were told that they had booked our rooms to a large tour group for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th nights and we would have to find someplace else to stay. I had just confirmed the reservation the week before, and the staff was entirely unapologetic about it. Fortunately, we were so ready to get out of there by the 3rd night it didn't matter. The location is convenient to the Kgale View Mall and its grocery store, and the facility is pretty nice. They have two buildings on both sides of the street, and we stayed on the side opposite the main building/office. We were told that we had access to a kitchen, but the kitchen in this building had no plates, no silverware, was dirty, and they clearly were not happy about us using it. They had to give us a key to acces it, which actually disappeared from our room one... more
