Clean and comfortable with free wifi. Not much of choice for restaurants. Decent rooms with modern facilities. Language is a biy if a problem as most staff do not speak English. However frobt desk and other areas are fine. Baia is located near the main business area hence ideal for business visits.

Finally managed to get a space at the Baia in May for my business trip. It was a welcome relief following my stays elsewhere in the city. The room is modern, clean and has a contemporary feel. Breakfast buffet was good and there is a gym with good quality equipment by the pool. My preferred choice now when in Luanda.

I first stayed here shortly after it opened and like Angola itself, the hotel as gotten better over time. Everything here still feels new and clean. The rooms are roomy and reasonably comfortable. The restaurant has gotten better over the years. With all the newer restaurant choices in Luanda I haven't eaten anything besides breakfast here in years. They have... More

New modern property that is close to the Isla area restaurants and beach however be advised that there is not much within walking distance in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are very nice - as good as most chain 4* hotels in USA with nice soaps, good hot water pressure, clean, etc. plus free water restocked daily. A/C kept my... More

Recently stayed for the first time at the Hotel Baia in Luanda for four nights. Can echo other comments that it is better than the other Hotels where I stayed previously in Luanda. Hotel is situated away from the hustle and bustle of the city and close to the new developments in Luanda. Was however surprised that there is no... More

I have stayed in Luanda many times over the past five years, and the Hotel Baia is one of the nicer places I've visited. The hotel is newer than the Alvalade but it is a bit further away from the airport, so transportation can be long and nerve wracking just to get there. The rrom was clean and this part... More

Stayed here a number of times on business stopovers. Down by the shore away from the nightmare traffic in Luanda, easy and safe drop off & pick-up. Convenient run to / from the airport. Comfortable, well appointed rooms with excellent bathrooms. Rooftop swimming pool and bar. Gym on rooftop as well. Spacious bar and lounge downstairs. Buffet good for dinner... More

Good location on the Marginal, quick commute to my office. The building is new, the rooms are comfortable. The generator kicked in immediately during occasional power outages. Check-in and check-out were relatively fast and painless. The restaurant buffet offers a wide selection of food. From the perspective of a guest dining alone, the restaurant service (clearing used plates, pouring water,... More

Stayed overnight. Room was nice and clean and had all sort of amenities. Couldn't communicate with front desk staff because most of them do not speak English. The breakfast buffet is ok and you have everything you need.

This is a good hotel. I found the rooms very clean and well stocked with all the travel essentials that a business traveller would require. Food in the buffet style restaurant was well prepared and of a good quality. Evening buffet around the $ 80 mark so expensive but this is Luanda. My bed was one of the most comfortable... More
