We just stayed at Amadeus and I highly recommend it. The place is really lovely, very clean and all aspects are nicely thought out. The people are extremely friendly and helpful in navigating Victoria Falls and the activities in the area. Catherine sat down with us when we arrived and we talked about what we wanted to do and they... more

Stayed at Amadeus for 2 nights in late June 2009 with my husband and parents. We deliberated at length whether to stay in Zim or Zambia but chose Zim due to the better viewing of the Falls. Really glad we did. Hartmut runs the place and was very friendly..the staff were lovely. It was a lovely, quiet haven...with nice pool,... more

This was a great place to stay. Rooms were clean, grounds were in excellent shape and staff was more than helpful. Breakfast was just OK but more than sufficient. Quiet atmosphere. Other hotels closer to the falls have a better location so you don't have to fool with cabs, but taxis are only $6 back and forth so save the... more

I stayed in Amadeus for only one night in Jan, was really impressed by Miriam, guess she is the host of the guesthouse. When I made the reservation before heading to Zim, she is so kind to me already, answered my questions prompty. She came to airport to pick me up and introduced Zim to me in the car on the... more

The Amadeaus Garden guesthouse is a idylic getaway accomodation, it is neatly situated in a quiet suburb- a short 10 minute walk from the Vic Falls city centre for restaurants and activities, and it is possible to walk to the Victoria falls themselves (30 min). The accomodation we had was on a bed and breakfast basis,-they did offer light meals... more

we visited Zimbabwe / Amadeus Guesthouse in october. In advance we were not sure to go or not, because of the political situation. No worries, in Victoria Falls the situation is completely safe. We met friendly people and we enjoyed the falls and the Zambezi river. more

We had the most lovely experience in Victoria Falls Amadeus Garden. We got a warm reception, good service in a cosy place. We recommend all the activities you can do, especially falls by helicopter and walk, elephant ride, chobe safari and canoeing or rafting along the zambezi river according to your preferences. Enjoy a nice meal and musical and tribal... more

After a couple of weeks on Camping Safari we finished our stay in the Victoria Falls on the Zimbabwian side at Amadeus Garden. We booked the hotel online via email. Booking was straight forward and personal. Doubts about whether it was a good time to visit the victoria falls from the Zimbabwian side were appeased through an email exchange with... more
