We had an awesome experience from when we arrived till we left. Sarah and John was great hosts. Stan was our guide and he went all out to make our adventure the best. We saw lots of animals wit a Cheetah being the highlite. The food was great and I loved dining with other guests under the big old trees.

What a fantastic personal based experience with excellent service, great wildlife and staying in the heart of nature. Put it on your "bucket list". Managers Sarah and Jon were so friendly and guide Stanley was so knowledgeable. A great way to finish a holiday after experiencing the magic of Victoria Falls.

We stayed 2 nights here and loved it. The huts were amazing, loved the bathrooms and it was so cool that the camp was open to all the animals to come in and wander through. Saw warthogs, bushbuck and Impala from outside our hut. The safaris were excellent, AB was a great guide, we went on so many drives and... More

We could not hope for a more peaceful setting. The Managers John and Sarah could not be more obliging. Our Driver/Ranger Richard was superb, great knowledge with great humour. The dinner was buffet style with enough food to suit everyone.

I cannot say enough good things about the Imbabala Safari Lodge in Zimbabwae. The service, food, and staff treated me as if I was the only one there. Richard, my game guide was superb in his knowledge and wildlife guiding skills. Finding the African painted dogs and vultures on a kill was a thrilling experience. If you are looking for... More

We really enjoyed Imbabala! The camp was very relaxing and the service and food was excellent. We did not have to drive far to see all kinds of animals. Our guide, Richard, was one of the best guides we had during our visit to 3 different places. He was very laid back, could spot animals, and get fairly close to... More

Our three day stay was a highlight of our two weeks in Southern Africa for three reasons: its location, its "boutique" size, and the staff, all equal in importance. Being above the falls, on a channel of the Zambezi facing Zambia, and inside a national park, provided unlimited scope for game drives, and boat excursions. Without leaving our porch, we... More

Our 4 night stay here has been the highlight of our first visit to Africa. Hosts John and Sarah, our guide Richard, and all of the staff made us feel welcome and "special" guests. The wildlife is sensational, and the lodge is sooooo!! relaxing whether cruising on the Zambesi for breakfast, dining under the stars, or reading a book in... More

Our stay at Imbabala Zambezi Safari Lodge. was amazing! As guest numbers are limited every visitor is treated like family. Fabulous friendly managers, guides, cooks, cleaners and gardeners who could not do enough for us! We enjoyed every moment including the early morning safaris, sunset river cruises and night safari. The guides go out of their way to ensure we... More

This is a must visit.Sarah & John are the best hosts you could hope for and Richard "the finger" is a great guide. Food and area is perfect. Breakfast on the Zambezi is a must. Brilliant place and real safari country.
