The staff are kind, the rooms are clean and quiet, the location was good - but no wifi in the rooms, the service in the restaurant can be exceptionally slow and the breakfast buffet was expensive. Not sure if I'd stay here again because I felt it was expensive for what I was getting.

the place needs an overhaul. The buffet breakfast is expensive you can go to the fabulous Victoria Falls Hotel and have a faulous breakfast for just a little more. Staff is nice location is not bad. No wifi in rooms. Thought price was high for what you get.

Fair price for the area, large rooms and pretty close to vic falls. I haven't stay much time inside it since there is so many activities to do in Victoria falls but I was able to relax in it. From the hotel you can see the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe.

we had a nice experience with friendly staff that changed our accommodation from noisy construction part of hotel to across the pool away from the entrance. It has fairly decent restaurant and entrees are reasonable as is the buffet. Be careful to keep window door closed ,baboons come on property. Wi-Fi only works in lobby. Pool cold water in winters... The building is tired and in need of renovation. The grounds are pleasant. The rooms large enough, but needing updating. Our bathroom had seen better days but was clean. Dinner was tasty and reasonably priced for the area. Hopefully you book with breakfast included, otherwise you're looking at $25 per person per breakfast. You're better off walking to town and... This hotel is well situated in town and offers all necessary amenities to spend a good vacation. Indeed, the service is excellent, staff is very helpful and the hotel is very clean. Rooms are big, with a nice bed and multi channel tv. Breakfast is good: there is a large amount of breads, yoghurts, jam, fruits combined with the possibility... More

We chose this hotel as it was affordable and near the falls. The overall impression of the hotel is that it is quite run down. With a little TLC the rooms could become quite nice again. The restaurant is really badly run during the breakfast buffet. Half of the plates are empty most of the time, and none of the... More

We were booked into this hotel as part of a tour group. The staff was very courteous and well trained in customer service. The room was nicer than we expected, and the AC quite effective. The bed was comfortable enough and housekeeping was excellent. A complimentary bottle of water (which could also be heated in a hot pot for tea... More

This was a very nice hotel close to the falls and the city centre. Pool and breakfast very good. Nice and friendly staff. Wifi (not to fast) near pool and central area. I was also in the Elephant Hills hotel, 5* but 10 minute drive out of the centre. I preferred the Rainbow. No taxi needed.

Typical colonial hotel that maybe used to be good, but lacks proper maintenance and a good management that pays attention to client's needs. I see that they take the time to respond to reviews here: they would do better spending that time on managing the hotel properly. That would really be rendering a service to their clients. We stayed two... More
