If you have a tent, just drive in, report to reception and pitch it. Convenient campsite, ablutions reasonable for the price and the restaurant a big plus if you drive in hungry after some tiresome border (we drove from Botswana) discussions. Night guards did a great job keeping the place quiet after 11pm, notwithstanding some big groups camping during our... More

The most reasonable accommodation available in a heavily touristed town. Quite comfortable and convenient but be aware that the so-called chalets have no self-catering facilities, not even an outside kitchen and the restaurant on the premises is not recommended. The so-called lodges are clean and comfortable and do have kitchen facilities. The infrastructure is old and a bit run down... More

We stayed in the Chalet room - very simple with 2 single beds but very clean. Showers we not great very little pressure and hot water (not a huge concern). Wouldn't recommend eating there. The food was not great both dishes we had were very oily and didn't seem fresh for the price. Staff very friendly and easy to book... More

We enjoyed staying at the rest camp for the second time and find it to be basic but clean. The price was reasonable, you can book all your activities from Oscar in reception and there is a great, affordable restaurant. I felt that it was more of an African experience than a western hotel.

Needed a no frills place for my production team out on a recon mission and job. Rest camp was surprisingly comfy with mosquito nets, showers were hot but no pressure but managed to shower. Friendly staff. Very reasonable on a low budget.

Neat and low cost, about $45 per night for a basic chalet that has two single beds and 2 chairs, table. Electric socket for charging things. Basic but very clean and tidy. A short walk to the ablutions, 30m. And the water was really hot for showers etc. There is a swiiming pool - but it was very cold at... More

The Huts have just beds with linen, some wooden chairs and a table. All cheapest quality. Toilet and bathroom are outside together with the camping people. Location is great, in the vic fall center. Staff helps with tours, cars can be taken to the huts, the area is guarded.

We have stayed here on several occasions, both in the chalets (simple but adequate and clean) and in the larger lodges (very good for a larger group--you basically have your own house). The Victoria Falls Hotel is fancier, but this gives you more space for certain, and is a WHOLE lot cheaper. Secure, too--there is a security gate, and when... More

We had a lovely 3 night stay in one of the 6 person lodges. I had friends visiting from university so we were on a student budget and rest camp was perfect. Our lodge had a kitchen which was great and we prepared all our own meals. The staff were lovely and really helpful, it was also useful being able... More

I spent a few nights in one of the single chalets. The accommodation is very basic, but spacious and spotless. The shared ablutions are also clean and the shower is hot. I can recommend the Rest Camp chalet for anyone looking for a simple budget accomodation in Vic Falls. The location is great, right in town centre!
