Rest camp was the end point for our African Tour. Great atmosphere for back packers and tour groups. We upgraded to a room in stead of camping. Absolutely amazing location. walking distances to shops, restaurants, markets, Victoria falls, bungee jump and other activities.

In this tourist place, it is a nice place, quiet and well run. I stayed in a dorm and I was the only one. Plenty of toilets and hot showers, that is nice. Wi-fi is available for a fee in the restaurant and lobby. The food is fine for the price. You can also walk anywhere in town and to... More

Having camped in many campsites in Botswana and Zimbabwe, this was pretty good because of the facilities. Plenty of flushing toilets with toilet paper, lots of nice hot showers. There's a bar/restaurant with very friendly staff and wifi available for a small charge. The location was great for walking to the local attractions, markets and restaurants. Within walking distance of... More

My friend and I stayed there twice during our trip to Zimbabwe Botswana after a friend recommended it. What a great location, set-up, and staff!! Easy to walk to "town" or the falls. Shilla, the manager is fantastic! She helped us out so much with everything and was really professional. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful too!... More

We stayed in a lodge for two nights and then one night camping. The lodges were clean and well equipped. We used the extra blankets as the nights got cold. The water was hot and we all had a shower. The communal showers were also clean. The lady in the laundry was also happy to wash individual items. Staff were... More

We arrived as 2 families at 6pm on a friday night. The chalets had been pre-booked and the booking confirmed not once but twice. Upon arrival it was easy to see that the conferences being hosted in Vic Falls had put pressure on all the available amenities and the camp was full to the brim with tourists. After a a... More

The chalet we stayed in was very basic but clean. There were no facilities, toilets, sink or anything in the room - only the beds and a table with 4 chairs. It should be noted that Victoria Falls is VERY expensive compared to all other places in the region, and that the 75$ for this basic room was 'cheap' compared... More

In the past this has been place of ill-repute, but it is under new management and while not cheap it is being taken care of. The chalets are definitely 1950s Zimbabwe and need some work, but they are comfortable, clean and safe. The atmosphere in the rest camp is relaxed and friendly. It is close to everything, yet you are... More

If you have a tent, just drive in, report to reception and pitch it. Convenient campsite, ablutions reasonable for the price and the restaurant a big plus if you drive in hungry after some tiresome border (we drove from Botswana) discussions. Night guards did a great job keeping the place quiet after 11pm, notwithstanding some big groups camping during our... More

The most reasonable accommodation available in a heavily touristed town. Quite comfortable and convenient but be aware that the so-called chalets have no self-catering facilities, not even an outside kitchen and the restaurant on the premises is not recommended. The so-called lodges are clean and comfortable and do have kitchen facilities. The infrastructure is old and a bit run down... More
