Had a wonderful stay at the backpackers. All activities were booked through the friendly and helpful management, which can be tailor made to your requirements and are reasonably priced. The chalets are comfortable and the surrounding gardens are extremely relaxing and tranquil, causing us to extend our stay! Would highly recommend a stay at the Victoria Falls Backpackers!

This backpackers is for those wanting a quieter stay in Victoria Falls. It has a lovely character, friendly staff and a rather pretty garden with a pool just for those times you want to chill out. All activities were booked through the hostel which saves time and effort and leaves you free just to enjoy your stay. It's easy enough... More

We as the owners and managers take great exception to our lodge being called dirty as we take pride in it. We enforce the rule of residents only on our premises. We have a rule of consider people after ten and so have no noise on our premise, this is rigidly enforced. NB: It is unfair of you to report... More

Being a little out of town is a big advantage as it is quieter. The rooms were lovely and very clean. There are very few budget places in the whole of Zimbabwe so this one really flies the flag for backpacker hostels. Highly recommended

We stayed in a room with the en suite bath, which was very nice! The tours were booked through Backpackers, which was great. The location is off the beaten path, but still close to visits to Victoria Falls and surrounding area. The only watch-out is with the taxi drivers, as they try to raise their prices for all tourists. Backpackers... More

We spent a weekend at Vic Falls Backpackers, my husband, two young kids (4 & 6), and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Tracey our host was friendly, helpful and nothing was ever an issue. The room was comfy and warm. Bunk beds for the kids was a treat!! The general kitchen area had everything we needed and was clean. The kids... More

We stayed for four days and totally enjoyed our stay. The peaceful setting, the gardens are beautiful and the hammock a great place to relax. Tracey was a gracious and helpful host and booked our excursions, we especially enjoyed the sunset cruise on the Zambezi,we saw hippos and elephants. It is a short walk to town but not too onerous.... More

We were 3 friends staying at VFB, and we had a good stay. We got our own little cabin with an extra bed. The Backpacker area is so idyllic, and chilling by the pool was very nice. The rooms had good mosquito nets, but the beddings were not at a good standards. The bathroom didn't have much privacy, so if... More

I stayed here when I was over landing for a few days. /to be honest there are not many backpacker options in Vic Falls Zimbabwe. They are very friendly and nice but the rooms are like mud huts. The price is okay for what you are getting and the location is not too close to the restaurants and shops so... More
