Stayed one night there this month after long hard travel. Could not say enough how friendly and warm staff was. The room was quiet, clean and inviting. The grounds were impeccable, decorations and settings thoughtfully designed to reflect African cultures. Food was great, and I would have absolutely no hesitations in returning. You won't go wrong here. Travel would be... More

We spent one night at the Armadale Lodge in Harare after 10 nights in safari camps. It was a wonderful place to reorient oneself to the "real" world! Formerly a farm house, the lodge has all the amenities but still retains its authentic character. The rooms all seem to be different in character and in their configuration. We had one... More

Our stay at Armadale lodge was lovely. We loved everything about it. The outside gardens were beautiful and peaceful. The rooms, each different, were very comfortable. The common areas also very comfortable, our favorite sitting by the fireplace with a nice glass of wine chatting with old friends and new. The staff was great. The manager Ray along with the... More

Since it's a boutique hotel each room is different in size and feel. Our main room had the bed and a small dining table, and we had a full kitchen, and a bathroom. As comfortable as that was the real beauty is the farmhouse. Many rooms, all open and inviting. The full breakfast was wonderful. They will prepare lunch and... More

I stayed at Armadale for a few weeks and really enjoyed the kindness and hospitality of staff who treat you both as an honoured guest and family (not sure how they manage both!). Breakfasts are cooked to order and taken either in your room/cottage or in the warm and welcoming dining room. Dinner is also available with some limited but... More

A perfect stay and so convenient to the city and airport. Very warm welcome by Alyona and all the staff. Very comfortable bedroom, delicious afternoon tea, supper and breakfast. The grounds are very attractive all the guest areas were furnished with style and nostalgia-- loved the library with maps and memorabilia. Log fire lit in the evening .... nothing was... More

The Armadale Lodge was one of the best places to stay on my vacation. It became a home away from home. The staff cared for all of my needs. They anticipated any circumstance that could arise and ensured that my stay with them was a magnificent journey of beauty and peace. The lodge was beautifully furnished with style and grace.... More

Firstly I believe it is the warm welcome, hospitality and attention to detail throughout your stay that makes this place so great. It's a small charming 'tight knit' accommodation, one in which you could feel uncomfortable if staffing didn't make you feel 100% at home. They really went the extra step I feel. Thoroughly recommend it/

This is a truly amazing place to stay if you are in Harare. Spent many weeks here and was like a second home. The service is personal and first class. Staff are caring and helpful at all times. Nice and quiet, discreet, beautiful gardens and if you have work to do you're guaranteed peace and privacy. Internet connectivity is also... More

Beautifully furnished, lovely setting, large secluded gardens , super pool. Individually furnished rooms all quirky and interesting. Staff and management are lovely, nothing is too much trouble. As a business traveller I find this a delightful and restful place to stay. A bit pricey but nevertheless I keep going back and always enjoy my stay.
