Decoration of hotel is a 4 star but the service and the reception is 0 star. We travel a lot especially Tunisia that we love chosir 4 star or 5 star hotel to be sure you keep the quality department but this hotel gave us a very bad surprise. firstly no one said 'hello', or smiling to the point we... Our first night in Tunisia so nothing to compare with. First impressions was of a tired old dated hotel. However, the location is central and any other time but Ramadan it would have been in the middle of restaurants and busy shops. As it was, all around the hotel was all closed, quiet and rather dirty. The room was a... More

- Good hotel in the Centre of Tunis near the entrance to the medina. - Old colonial style building, I think it used to be a bank - Safe location in the centre - average size room with good bathroom - Breakfast was ok-ish - A bit pricey for what it is, I think there is better value in the... More

Everything about this place was great except the smoke. We had no wifi in our room, but it worked in the hallway and lobby. So every time we went down to use the internet we had to sit in a cloud of smoke. Same as everywhere in Tunisia, though. Nice, large room with windows, decent bathroom, TV with English channels.

I only stayed one night but found the staff helpful, the room clean and the breakfast very good. I arrived at midnight to check in and was shown to the room. The bar was shut but as all i wanted was a bottle of water, the barman served me with a smile. When i went down to breakfast, the staff... More

I mean you hear the word Palace as part of the title and you expect more than you get here. The chairs in the lobby have blown seats and everything is just a little seedy and dusty. The restaurant is interesting with a pretty bar, but it's expensive. The clerks are not too helpful and you have to know French... More

The hotel is located on a crowded street within easy walking distance to the medina and cathedral. It has large clean rooms with TV, safe and free wi-fi. Rugs a little worn and for one night was rather noisy. Staff accommodating and meals good. Rather expensive but, Overall, a good choice.

I have stayed many times at the Tunisia Palace, as well as having place many, many clients stay there. It is one of the most attractive hotels in Tunisia and for those who want the urban feeling, one could not ask for a better location in Tunis's "centre-ville" and in most cases, praised by clients. Following a previous review, where... More

I was in Tunis just for one night to know the city. I had a private tour who pick me up in the airport in the morning and than leave me in the hotel at night. The hotel is located in the heart of Tunis, with a lot of commerce and restaurants near it. The building is a bank as... More

My first visit to Tunis, with my Tunisian husband and disabled sister. I was very impressed with this hotel and will definitely stay here again. They were very helpful and kind to my sister who has mobility issues. The hotel staff made an extra effort to make our "honeymoon" room special. The hotel is in a beautiful building and felt...
