Our introduction to Tunisia Palace was not on a great note when several emails that I sent to them asking about an airport transfer and once I met the front desk of Tunisia Palace I understood why this was. First, the hotel is beautiful. Request Room 101 or similiar. It was a huge room with a gigantic bathroom whose only... more

The fruit bowl in the room was welcome, the door staff were super efficient (almost too efficient when you want to make sure your luggage and the taxi don't disappear of their own accord) and the location is great. Downsides are that the receptionist had "no idea" how much a prebooked taxi to the airport would be - which doesn't... more

I arrived in the hotel quarter to one at night on Wednesday evening and stayed until Sunday afternoon. Upon arrival I was welcomed by the friendly staff and brought to my room. The rooms are really OK, comfortable size and comfortable beds. I agree with other reviewers (tripadvisor.com) that the cleanliness is also OK, though western business hotels are still... more

Had a very pleasant stay at the Tunisia Palace. It is right next to the Medina, and in the center of the commercial area. Staff is very friendly, and the rooms are nice. more

As other reviewers have indicated, the hotel is in a terrific location for seeing Tunis. The staff is very nice and fairly attentive. The hotel building itself is beautiful and the rooms are quite large and pretty clean--although not quite at the standards one might expect in a European hotel. Our room also had a faulty heater which they promised... more

The hotel is in a prime location at the end of the main street in the modern part of Tunis, 200m from the entrance to the Medina. The staff are friendly and the lobby area is well decorated and you are welcomed by mint tea on arrival. The rooms are quite large, well furnished and are very clean and have... more

A travel agent booked us in this hotel for a 2-night stay, and we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to discover that the hotel was one block from the medina and easy walking distance from downtown restaurants. There's also a nice sidewalk cafe directly in front of the hotel, a nice place to enjoy a cup of tea and... more

Don't stay at any other hotel/hostel in Tunis! This hotel is a great steal!!! For about $130 per night, you will get the same conveniences and services that easily would cost you $500-$600 per night in NYC, London, or Moscow!!! My travelling companion and I stayed for three nights/four days at the Tunisia Palace over the recent Thanksgiving holiday. Wow,... more

A lovely hotel, with a great location. Just metres from the medina and very handy for the main Avenue, with its shops, cafes and restaurants. Our room was spacious with a modern good sized bathroom. The breakfast room is a stunner - high ceilings with stained glassed high windows. Reception staff spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful... more

I spent one night in Tunis after week in awful Vincci Nour in Mahdia. I had a pleasant stay. The hotel is centrally located, so you can walk around to main destinations with ease. The front desk are really helpful. They even sent someone up to my room to help set up internet on my laptop. The room itself was... more
