I'm writing this after a check out of 3 nights ended yesterday. General: A very suitable place for business traveler or backbager with good pricing. Nice clean rooms , But don't expect an international service of 4 start hotel. Just a suitable place close to sightseeing areas and transportation of the old town. staff: Very friendly and helpful. Food good... More

I am writing this review on the eve of my check out after a nine day Christmas and New Year stay in the Tunisia Palace Hotel with my wife. I am not, and never have been, interested in international hotel chains without character or individuality but I have, unfortunately, been obliged to stay in many HiltoMariotSheratonian identiboxes. If you have... More

So positives: Real nice reception area, amazing breakfast and restaurant interior, best location as possible.Housekeeping working well, amenities are the nicest I got in Tunisia. Negatives: 70£/night is double that I paid for a much better hotel (Hotel Carlton) in Tunis Centre. The room standards are very low! Very old beds and furniture. The hot water colour is brown! The... Location allowed for easy walks of the town and markets close by. Rooms okay, but very dated, could use refreshing and carpets replaced. Bathroom large and lots of hot water and towels. Breakfast good.

Beautiful entrance and stunning dining area. Otherwise this hotel is definitely dated. The hotel staff were generally friendly and helpful, and made our stay of 4 days pleasant. The rooms were a decent size and clean although the bathroom needed to be refurbished and the carpets needed a deep clean or change. Breakfast was fair but could have been better... More

Hotel is in a great location, Avenue de France, close to the Medinah and the Cathedral, in the French colonial part of the city. But the hotel is very dated. We arrived in the evening, and the first room we were given was very noisy - a compressor for the air conditioning was making a noise like a light aircraft... More

Difficult to get to an overall judgement: Location at the border of the old and the new downtown is fantastic, the building is impressive, my room was large, people at the reception very friendly and knowledgeable. On the other hand the bed was not too comfortable, putting the only chair in the room in front of the desk was difficult,... More

This hotel is on the main street three minutes away from the medina (the old marketplace). I had a room with a balcony that looked over the street and I could watch people walk by. The street is lined with trees in which sparrows sing every morning and evening. It is an old world hotel that I found quite beautiful.... More

We had a nice reception upon arrival. This is a dressy hotel. Really pretty I think once a Mansion. Our Room was very large, No view, Comfortable and well appointed. The bath was palatial. Hot water for the bath. Everything worked and was well serviced. Did not see the housekeepers , but they did a great job. Breakfast was great.... More
