Attended a conference at this hotel in the center of Tunis. Very hospitable staff, the rooms were clean and pleasant and quite satisfactory. Adequate dining and coffee on terrace overlooking active city. Certainly adequate for a small conference and the location provides opportunity for walking around and local dining

This may once have been a good hotel, but now it is a rather seedy establishment, and long past its glory. Some old hotels can amuse by their faded charms - not the Majestic. My room was freezing cold (in January) and only after repeated requests, a radiator was put into the bathroom to raise the temperature. Staff are generally... More

I frequently stay in this hotel. Historic building, old fashioned decoration, various type of rooms. Free and relatively fast internet every place, very clean bathroom and rooms. Some rooms are enormous some are tiny. But all lovely. LCD tv, Safe, Kettle and coffee are present. So basics are ok for business traveler. Breakfast is very rich, Café Bar is ok.... More

The location of the hotel is good, 10 min. walking to Al Habib Bo Rgeba Avenu, fast food restaurants and markets are near to the hotel. 18 min. walking to the old city market which you can find souvenirs and Al Zaytona mosque. The room was nice and big but when I entered the room I found a dead cockroach... More

It is right that with its old and dated rooms, this hotel may not be a four star in your city. It is also true that you might get a better hotel in your country with the money you are paying. But you have landed here in Tunis. If you are coming to enjoy the uniqueness of Tunis, this hotel... More

Stayed here as part of organized tour so not sure of price. Rooms were just okay. Decor is quite dated though everything worked fine. AC worked well and there was free wifi in all the rooms. Bathroom was large and clean. We walked ariund a bit and the hotel is conveniently located near cafes, markets, and the medina. Dinner and... More

I stayed in this hotel for a week this summer and, on the whole, did not leave with a very positive impression. The hotel is certainly not four stars--maybe two. There is no pool, first of all. Second, the air conditioner in my room was really weak, and Tunis in the summer is very hot. Third, getting coffee in the... More

I enjoyed my stay at the Majestic Hotel. The staff was very welcoming and nice. The room is very clean, smells good and is classy with recent equipment (tv, fridge, etc). The restaurant offers delicious meals with 5+ services and the waiters are professional. My only complain would be the lack of parking lots since it is in the heart... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, it is right off Ave Habib Bourguiba on Ave de Paris in the centre of Tunis. The area ok for a man to stay in, not for a single woman though. The hotel is an old colonial type building and has been refurbished. I stayed in an enormous room with stone floors and... More
