No air condition working. Staff are unfriendly. It's worn rooms. Bad beds. Alot of traffic passing all the time. They don't have any mini bar. It have been on the top sometime ago, but now this is definitely over. Only good thing is free wifi.

I stayed for almost 4 nights in Le Diplomat and really, there are better and service-oriented hotels with a relatively comparable price. The room was OK, but the washroom was a desaster. The service, especially in the evening was unfriendly, whereas in the morning, a bit better. The location was OK and the breakfast acceptable. Being honest, it is by... More

Broken facilities in room - mirror fell spontaneously off wall, toilet kept flushing, door would often not close properly and AC would not work. Disgusting bar - full of male smokers, décor like an Irish ballroom of the 60s. Breakfast selection was limited. Hotel is situated in a street of car mechanical workshops. Staff are sleasy. It would not be... More

This hotel has some pros and cons. On the good side come the room space, cleanliness and the fact that most of the staff were very helpful. In addition it is very close to the city center and madina. I only took breakfast in the hotel. It was of above average quality. On the other hand, the hotel surrounding was... More

For the price of the room I would expect better looking rooms and breakfast. I stayed for few days only until I get another place (the place was recommended to me by company). The surrounding area is dirty (as most part of the city) and it's not pleasant when nights falls. I wouldn't recommend it to single women or even... More

Great hotel to stay at. The personnel are very helpful and nice, very helpful with every request.Clean environment. Hotel restaurant is good too. The food was delicious, buffet style. Breakfast buffet included with reservation. Downtown so it`s really close to stores, zoo and many other attractions. Highly recommend

Le diplomat hotel is the good hotel if you compared it to other hotels in the city. Rooms are good and large, but the forniture are very old, anyway the bathroom are more modern. the street-area is a bit depressing and dirty, but not much more than other areas of the city. the staff are very attentive and helpful.

Great location out of the hustle and bustle of it all, but near enough not to miss anything. Only a few minutes walk to the Medina and shops. Food - not very good. A bit basic, quality of produce poor and lacked variety. You can get better out and about in the surrounding area. Hotel - fairly clean (though this... More

This is a typical 'upmarket' Tunis hotel - with most of the quirks that you'd expect. The location is good - to the northwest of the central downtown area (Centre Ville) and just 15 minutes (colorful) walk to the Place de la Victoire at the entrance to the Medina. It was 10 mins walk to the shops on Ave de... More

I came to Tunis for work, and spent my first night in Tunisia at this hotel. It was memorable, mostly for the wrong reasons. In fact, it was crazy as hell. While the hotel was clean, there were some problems with electricity and with the plumbing. I had to change rooms because the toilet was not working. The cleaning staff... More
