My family and I have stayed here twice now, and have enjoyed it both times. The hosts are very friendly, we enjoy chatting with them. Although we speak some Arabic, it's handy for us that the wife is fluent in English. We've stayed in two different rooms and enjoyed both. Both rooms offered a good set up for an extended... More

Love the place! Although the location is a little bit difficult to find, the hosts provide us with the pick up service and other possible helps. The rooms are carefully decorated and comfort to stay. To be honest, the wifi does not run on a fast speed, but it is adequate to use. If we had the chance, we would... More

Staying here was a nice refuge from busy Tunis. Helene and Mohamed were extremely welcoming hosts and were really helpful in advising is on plans for visiting the city and our onward journey. Breakfasts were delicious (and huge!) and the homestay was spacious, homely and extremely comfortable. Location-wise Dar el Yasmine is in the suburbs half way between Tunis and... More

I stayed in Dar el Yasmine for a few days with my husband, our 3-month old baby daughter and a friend and found it a very relaxed and easy-going place - perfect for us new parents. Helene and Mohammed were wonderful hosts and were super-helpful - every request was met with immediate consideration. Mohammed had some great tips for visiting... More

We chose Dal el Yasmine for it's location in a quiet suburb halfway between Tunis and Sidibou/Carthage and La Goulette (for great seafood dinners). Mohammed and Helene were wonderful hosts and we felt very at home. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast, with homemade preserves, served in the garden was a lovely way to start the day while the... More

I stayed at Helene and Mohammed's place for one week with my two young children, husband and mother. I had lived in Tunis as a young child and this was my first trip back. I wanted to stay somewhere that could recapture some of my experience in Tunis - and therefore wanted to stay away from a big hotel. Dar... More

Dar El Yasmine is a beautiful home with a beautiful garden, it's 15 minutes far from Tunis center and 10 minutes far from the airport by car/taxi. Hélène and Mohamed are very kind and nice, the service they offer is flawless. Everything was clean and the breakfast was very rich. Definitely a place to return.

We needed to joina cruise in Tunis. We spent on night in a comfortable double. Helene and Mohamed were gracious and professional hosts. Breakfast was simple, but delicious with freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs cooked to order and homemade preserves. The pick up service airport to hotel, hotel to port was reasonably priced and made what could have been a... More

Helene and Mohamed are wonderful hosts... their house is beautiful, welcoming and spacious. Helene prepared great breakfasts with homemade marmalade and fresh fruits from her own garden… they helped us in arranging details for our tour through Tunisia… Mohamed is incredibly polite in personally providing “last mile” transportation to the closest taxi station and back
