I spent one night in the Les Berges Du Lac hotel in Tunis in October, so this is going to be a rather short review. Location was perfect for my need, service is excellent - I probably had the quickest check-in and check-out ever - breakfast is fantastic, especially if you are able to enjoy it on the terrace facing... more

My boyfriend and I stayed two nights at the Les Berge du Lac in Tunis. It's in a great location, very close to the airport, a short ride from the bus station, 10-15 mins from downtown by taxi, and 10 minutes from the shore. It's in a cute, upscale residential neighborhood and within walking distance from good restaurants and a... more

I like the hotel in spite of the fact that you cannot have a class of wine with your meal in its restaurants. As far as I understand the reason is that the whole area of Les Berges du Lac is non-alcoholic. So I solved the problem by visiting a local hyper-market, bought some bottles of wine and enjoyed the... more

I came to Les Berges du Lac thinking it is a nice 5-star hotel for international tourists. NOT SO: It is now under Saudi ownership, and they have taken steps to ensure that the hotel is run under Islamic fundamentalist rules. This means for example that there is absolutely no alcohol served anywhere in the hotel, you simply cannot get... more

This is absolutely my favorite hotel yet! It smells so fresh and clean, the rooms are beautiful, the beds are so comfortable. The deck has a gorgeous view, the food is great, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Again, the scent! Whatever it is, smells so good! I only stayed for three nights, and I wish I could have... more

Second stay. This time in Feb-08, last time was Nov-07. Just been there for a new nights on both occasions. A déjà vu feeling returning due to the fragrant scent of rose leafs. In fact, the longer you stay, the more sticky the scent escalates. Don't know where it comes from? Rooms are nice. Gym + pool area + spa... more

I stayed at the Concorde Les Berges du Lac for two weeks in May. The hotel is modern and and the rooms are comfortable. I had one of the larger corner rooms with a veiw of Lake Tunis. As mentioned in a previous review, the hotel is close to the airport, but the rooms are well insulated and noise is... more

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on urgent business. I checked in without a reservation. The front desk was very courteous and professional. The hotel is 5 Star luxurious. The rooms and bathrooms are all first class. The only downside was the buffet. It was small with little variety. But that was probably due to the high... more

A very new hotel, with excellent rooms, flat screen TVs, bathrobes, lovely balconies (although mine was shared with next door) with large patio tables and chairs. Best thing is free fast internet in every room and wireless internet in the lobby areas. Worst thing is it's in an area of Tunis that is alcohol-free. Oh, it's very close to the... more
