Average hotel, I gave this rating as the rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the location is great at the main street, where you can find many shops and cafes around, and the old market is 15 mins walk from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The things I disliked are the all-purpose soap, it's the only... More

The Carlton Hotel Tunis is located at the very Bourguiba Av. - the main center of the city. Room was a new one with its own terrace, but big enough to get a comfortable sleep, you couldn't hear any street noise. If I come back this will be my choice since both room and price were excellent!

Stayed here for 3 nights in early October. It is a very good hotel if most of your time you spend in Tunis is outside. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing (major) wrong with the hotel, the rooms are newly refurbished, clean and look nice. But what it really shines is its location right at the centre of the... More

This hotel is OK, nothing noticeable. The rooms are quite big, quite nice and clean (it is very new, it has been fully refurbished). The staff is quite nice as well. If you have a room on the back, it is pretty quiet. The location is fine near the Medinah and really central for Tunis. The breakfast is OK (nothing... More

I arrived at the hotel at about midnight and departed at 8 am the following morning so didn't do much apart from sleep. The check in staff was awesome - I really wanted a bottle of water & a coke, but the restaurant / room service was closed - so the desk clerk sent someone out to pick them up... More

It's good for the price, safe secure, close to interesting sites. Close to the medina. It's not luxury if that's what you are after, but it's everything I needed. Staff were nice, helpful. I'd recommend it and I'd stay there again.

I moved to the Hotel Carlton after staying one night at the Sheraton Tunis. I cut my nightly hotel bill by well over $100.00 per night and had a very decent stay at the Carlton, so much so that I extended for a second night. My Carlton room was very clean, very quiet, with very up-to-date décor. Further, it had... More

Breakfast was fine, room was very clean, everything was perfect. Check-in was fast, bell service was fast, WiFi was excellent, wide selection of TV channels to chose from The truly unique feature of this hotel is the heavy plastic cushion tile in the centre of the halls which deadens all sound of walking and carts and luggage

This is a great place to stay in Tunisia. It is fresh and clean, has comfortable and modern rooms with nice furnishings, and has a great breakfast buffet. I would recommend it to anyone looking for an honest deal in Tunis. It's not over the top luxury, but it is comfortable and in a great location.
