Stayed in this hotel on the first day of Ramadan. Not exactly the best time to visit Tunis but the room given to us was really charming. Only gripes that i have is that it is a bit bothersome to reach reception since the facade of the building is still under renovation (so you have to enter from the side,... More

A very pleasant hotel to stay. Yes the aircon was a bit wheezy but it was enough to keep the room comfortable. The room itself, with a balcony overlooking the main street, was clean, spacious and roomy with a comfortable bed and plenty of hanging space. The location, right on the main street, is ideally located with lots of cafes,... More

The Hotel Carlton is a very reasonably-priced gem of a hotel opening onto the Avenue Habib Bourguiba, which is lined with delicious and relaxing sidewalk cafes. The rooms are compact, but comfortable; the Wi-Fi is fast and stable; and the breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. The hotel combines historical charm with modern amenities. The staff was very helpful and... More

I have been to the Carlton twice, and was pleasantly surprised by how much it has improved in the past few months thanks to the works. The rooms are modern and spacious, the internet excellent, the location perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a (very) affordable and comfortable stay in Tunis.

Hotel Carlton is a gem amidst the hub bub of Avenue Hanib Bourgiba in downtown Tunis. A friend and I were here for one night after a 9 day tour. We wanted to stay downtown and get away from the tourist hotels near the beach. Carlton has very tastefully refurbished rooms. We were in the back of the hotel where... More

This is a good Hotel. I particularly liked the kind hearted staff, good wifi connection and breakfast. There's always plenty of taxis available on call or outside the hotel and the tram stop is near by.

Dear Farhat A. Thank you so much for your comment. Regarding our breakfast, we will soon propose a new, richer formula, I hope that it will satisfy our customers. And the good news is the reception: The one you so is just a temporary setting, while we are redecorating a much larger reception hall, featuring original art work ans design... More

The Hotel Carlton is s bit outdated but the location is quite good, right on Habib Bourguiba in downtown Tunis. Breakfast is included, albeit basic, and the property is clean. Wifi works well everywhere. We're a family of four and adjoining rooms worked well for us. I would stay here again.

The hotel is very well placed, convinient for the airport and the Medina. It is being currently renovated, so there is no proper reception area and the movements inside the hotel are chaotic. My room was renovated to high modern standards (which is not usual in Tunisia). The two main problems were the scarcity of plugs in the room, and... More
